Social Media Coordinator at ADvTECH

OVERALL OF THE JOB:

• The Social Media Co Ordinator will be responsible for planning and executing social media and digital marketing initiatives that support student recruitment, brand awareness and stakeholder engagement. The role supports the Marketing Manager by managing digital channels, coordinating campaigns and monitoring marketing performance and customer service

KEY RESULT AREAS:

Duties & Responsibilities

Social Media Management & Content Creation

• Manage all brand social media platforms, develop content calendars, create engaging content, capture photos and videos, provide live event coverage and manage online communities.

Paid Media & Lead Generation

• Plan, execute and optimise paid social media campaigns to drive lead generation, increase brand awareness and monitor campaign performance.

Marketing Campaigns, Events & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate marketing campaigns and events, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and support promotional activities through on-site content creation.

Customer Service & Digital Communications

• Provide online customer service, respond to enquiries, manage digital communication channels and ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines.

Reporting & Marketing Operations

• Monitor campaign performance, compile marketing reports, analyse digital metrics and support marketing administration, including campaign coordination and invoice processing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or related field
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management or related field

Experience

• Three years in Social media management, content creation and community management.
• Three years experience in creating social media content, including copywriting, short-form videos, reels, vlogs and live event coverage. The candidate must be comfortable attending events, inaugurations, activations and institutional functions to capture and publish content.
• Two- three years experience in providing online customer service, responding to enquiries, managing communities and supporting lead conversion or student recruitment initiatives.
• Three years experience in coordinating marketing campaigns, events and promotional activities while working with internal stakeholders, designers, agencies and external service providers.
• Three years experience in higher education, student recruitment or education marketing will be advantageous.
