Build and lead a team of engineers, establish the team culture & processes and mentor & grow individual team members.
Lead technical discussions and guide the team towards making the right technology choices.
Ensure we are working on the right problems, building the right solutions, and executing quickly & effectively.
Partner with product, data science, design, operations, and other engineering teams to contribute to our product roadmap.
Ensure a delightful user experience, high quality of delivered features and maintain a high quality codebase.
Conduct research into new tools, techniques, and best practices + facilitating knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements and qualifications
10+ years relevant experience developing mission critical web and server applications in agile environment (preferably C# / Asp.Net)
Strong people leader and collaborator who can partner closely with cross-functional team members and other teams throughout the organization to drive key initiatives forward.
Proven track record of leading teams to successfully execute multiple parallel work streams and ship high-quality product features on schedule.
Problem solving demeanor - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data will make you much more effective in this role. Being driven is a must!
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while prioritizing and handling multiple responsibilities
High levels of comfort applying agile development methodologies in a leadership capacity.
Experience with running applications on one of the public cloud providers like AWS, GCP or Azure
Proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework
Should have working knowledge of using the latest development tools and techniques.
Previous experience with e-commerce website development and distributed application technologies is a definite plus!
