The Spa Attendant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Spa Manager in the effective day-to-day operation of the spa, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, functionality, and luxury guest service in accordance with One&Only and ESPA brand standards. The role oversees the spa attendant team, public areas, treatment suites, changing facilities, laundry, linen management, amenities, stock control, and back-of-house operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
The Spa Attendant Supervisor ensures that all opening and closing procedures, operational policies, health and safety requirements, and service standards are consistently followed. This includes conducting regular inspections of the spa facilities, coordinating deep cleaning schedules, monitoring equipment and maintenance requirements, managing inventory levels, and ensuring all guest amenities, floral displays, refreshments, and spa facilities are maintained to the highest quality at all times.
The role provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and support to the Spa Attendant team by coordinating work schedules, conducting daily handovers, identifying training needs, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, monitoring performance, and promoting a positive, motivated, and high-performing team culture. The Spa Attendant Supervisor also works closely with other hotel departments and external service providers to ensure operational efficiency and service excellence.
A key aspect of the position is delivering exceptional guest service by proactively engaging with guests, responding promptly and professionally to requests and concerns, supporting reception and therapy teams, and ensuring every guest enjoys a welcoming, comfortable, and memorable spa experience. The role is also responsible for ensuring compliance with all company policies, hygiene regulations, security procedures, and health and safety legislation while driving continuous improvement, maintaining accurate operational records, and contributing to the achievement of departmental performance and guest satisfaction objectives.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Previous experience in a spa or hospitality environment will be an advantage.
Basic knowledge and understanding of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment.
Computer literate with basic computer skills.
Experience managing and leading a team.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
