Job Description    

• Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) has an exciting opportunity in our Marketing department. We are looking for talented individual with relevant skills and experience for a Special Events Coordinator, which is based in Phoenix in the Coastal Region. To effectively plan, co-ordinate, implement and support ALL sales execution activities in the trade, in order to contribute towards the achievement of increased sales volumes, customer satisfaction and brand loyalty

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

• Support sales location with respect to all sales execution strategies around promotions, and advertising
• Identified promotions opportunities
• Manage sales execution resources for respective sales locations
• Communication, tracking and monitoring of execution of promotions
• Coordinated and managed national promotions
• Managed, implemented and supported promotions
• Developed, ordered and managed POP and promotions equipment
• Managing delivery of equipment to trade
• Developed and maintained customer relations, with internal and external stakeholders
• Supported, guided and coached team and customers
• Administered documentation and reports
• Conducted audits
• Managed own development and performance
• To co-ordinate all special events for the Mpumalanga area
• Develop & roll out Picture of Success throughout the region
• Ensure activation according to Picture of Success
• Plan monthly/weekly/daily activities for special events team
• Manage special events assets
• Compile special events reports and ensure tracking thereof
• Execution of a school’s sampling program
• Experiential marketing activities in line with the Brand plans
• Manage a budget

Skills, Experience & Education    

• Matric & applicable Tertiary qualification (Diploma/Degree in Sales and Marketing or Public Relations).
• 3-5 years relevant special events activation experience is essential
• Code 8 Driver’s License.
• Creativity and innovation.
• Need to be service orientated.
• Good planning, organizing and controlling skills.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Prepared to work weekends.
• Good communication skills
