    Specialist Insurance – Compliance & Sales

    THE OPPORTUNITY

    • We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Insurance to join our highly skilled Insurance team. This role takes Insurance services to a whole new level, encouraging you to exceed business needs and work in a collaborative team who are just as passionate as you to provide exceptional experiences.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • The incumbent will be responsible for Compliance of the MBFS Insurance department, predominantly managing FAIS administration requirements and to ensure insurance policy sales are performed in compliance with the inclusion of all Insurance Regulations, Company's related codes and policies. Responsibility will also include providing regular training and feedback on legislative topics and requirements back into the business, quality checking of direct sales team calls to ensure customer centricity and compliance, will be essential to achieve operational excellence. In addition, the incumbent would be required to oversee direct sales consultants in conjunction with team lead and specialist sales operations to ensure business continuity and smooth service output at all times.


    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    MANAGE & COORDINATE COMPLIANCE DUTIES

    •  Customer Documentation/policy wording, schedules and correspondence: Ensure compliant wording, disclaimers and disclosures are present in line with regulatory and Insurance related Acts.
    •  Recruitment  outsourced direct insurance sales agents: Vet applicants to ensure regulatory Fit and Proper requirements are met. Obtain final approval from Key Individual and Compliance officer.
    •  Representative Register: Ensure the MBFS Rep Register is up to date at all times. Ensure all documentation as per FAIS Act is prepared, signed and delivered i.e. Representative Letter of Authority.
    •  Complaints Register: Ensure on time logging of incoming complaints and manage process until complaint has been resolved.
    •  CPD Hours / COB Training / Declarations: Ensure all representatives and KI's are enrolled and training done before legislative deadline. Ensure all Representatives and KI’s sign Quarterly Declarations.
    •  Marketing material/Website: Ensure compliant design, above the line advertisements and proper disclaimers and documentation are available to avoid FSCA fines.
    •  FSCA Annual Reporting / Quarterly Reporting: Collect and Compile all necessary documentation and submit to FSCA before deadline.
    •  Quarterly Compliance Reviews: Attend Quarterly Reviews with appointed Compliance Officer. Manage and implement legislative change requirements as communicated by Compliance Officer to ensue 100% Compliance with FSCA and all Insurance regulatory requirements, enabling MBFS to sell and market the relevant insurance products.


    PROCESS OPTIMIZATION

    •  New Systems Development, Enhancements and Campaign Business: For any new system requirement to implement new products / campaigns or regulatory requirements.
    •  Gather and document business requirements from both internal and external stakeholders in conjunction with specialist sales operations and specialist business development. Manage and ensure enhancements / integrations are executed by the IT Department(s) / Galaxi specialist on time as per business requirements.
    •  Arrange training material, conduct training and communicate to relevant parties and on all new enhancements / changes related to the Insurance business.
    •  New Insurer Integration: Project Manage system integration between Galaxi / MBFS for current and / or new selected Insurers coming onboard together with specialist sales operations.
    •  System Testing & Oversight: Support User Acceptance Testing and testing requirements to ensure that features were delivered as per documented requirements.
    •  Administration: Campaign Management and updates. Manage and monitor /report on Boost and CLO uptake.
    •  Manage and administer Boost interest rate adjustments and report back to business.
    •  Invoice Processing: Load Purchase Orders and arrange for payment all Invoices payable by the Insurance Department via Concur.


    OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

    •  Focus on regular monitoring of controls and on testing of controls effectiveness
    •  Implement and control Agent’s sale callscript to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    •  Conduct quality control by listening, analyzing and scoring sales calls made by Insurance Sales Agents.
    •  Perform weekly checks on data captured and interfaced to the Insurers via the Galaxi Point of Sale System to ensure 100% accuracy.
    •  Perform training to close gaps identified to ensure sales are executed compliantly and advice rendered according to regulatory requirements and in line with Insurer requirements.
    •  Insurer Due Diligences: Support the Insurers in performing their due diligences on the MBFS insurance business by supplying all required documentation and information annually. Ensure that all standard insurer agreements are valid and updated as required.
    •  Enquiry Handling: Assist and support with inbound enquiries from Insurers, Dealers and Customers to ensure the delivery of excellent service and achievement of our combined Sales Target. Process functionality and flow
    •  Continue to look for improvements to deliver excellent customer service by providing the Selling Agents a hassle free Process and Galaxi Insurance System.

    ADHOC PROJECTS & LIASON WITH AAP REGION

    •  Share and gai n knowledge of Best Practice. Actively seek to implement improved practised in South Africa.
    •  Where required actively share ideas, projects, system enhancements with AAP Region and other countries. Assist with adhoc Projects as and when required.
    •  Oversee, support and lead / mentor direct sales consultants in conjunction with team lead and dealer sales agent to ensure business continuity and smooth service output at all times.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    •  RE5 and RE1
    •  Relevant business degree / diploma
    •  Ability to act as insurance Representative and Key Individual
    •  Minimum 3 years work experience in insurance / finance sales environment
    •  Experience in working in a Project driven environment
