SPH Theatre Storeperson at Lenmed Private Hospitals

Main Focus Areas

• The incumbent will be responsible to assists in the ordering, receiving, controlling, storage and movement of Procurement stock item, Bill the stock and to identify with replenish stock items. Controlling of stock movement and reporting of stock levels and assisting Theatre Stock controller.

Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

• Assist the Theatre stock controller in preparations of purchased orders and MRP as per system generated orders and ensures adherence to formulary and preferred supplier.
• Conduct regular and routine checks on consignment stockroom items and maintain an orderly , clean and neat organization of stock per supplier.
• Coding stock received in accordance with control procedures and positioning items in appropriate location
• Ensuring rotation of stock based on “first in – first out principles”
• Checking expiry dates and communicate short dated stock to Theatre Stock Controller, Hospital Stock controller and Surgical Buyer.
• Upon delivery of stock assist in receiving , correlating to order and Invoice.
• Follow up on back orders and outstanding orders to departments.
• Filing of invoices, delivery notes, orders, receipts and credit notes
• Assist in the cycle count procedure, pay attention to the cut-off/start time

Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification
• Previous work experience in private hospital environment is essential
• Advanced Computer Literacy
• Flexible in working hours while supporting daily business hours
