Stock Controller at CAP Security

Overall purpose of the position:

• Responsible for receiving and unpacking of stock items in the proper manner and allocated space in the storerooms.
• Checking of quality of stock and physical goods against the invoice received.
• Participating in regular stock takes.
• Packing of orders and issuing of items to relevant personnel.
• Complete relevant documentation to record all items inward /outwards movements.
• Liaise with SSA to raise an order when stock needs to be replenished.
• General housekeeping to ensure store rooms are neat and tidy.
• Ensure stock levels are at the minimum levels as indicated per storeroom.
• Prepare all invoices, credit notes and stock transfers on stock system.
• Submit all invoices to finance and HOD for approval and payments.
• GRV all stock into system when received.
• Investigate and report any discrepancies regarding stock.
• Populate monthly stock reports.
• Housekeeping of offices and building infrastructure – check and report, arrange repair if required
• Ad hoc activities

Education and Skillset requirement:

• Matric.
• Tertiary education would be an advantage.
• Training and abilities necessary to qualify for this job:
• Additional Administration training or dispatch training will be beneficial
• Computer skills
• Microsoft office packages (MS Word, MS Excel) must be fully proficient
• MS Office Outlook

• Position Status: Permanent
• Working days: Monday to Friday
• Hours per Day: 08h00 to 17h00 9 hours
• Hours per Week: 45 hours
• Overtime: When required
