Strategy Manager (Banking & Insurance) at Accenture

The Opportunity

• As a Manager in Reinvention Services – Financial Services, you will play a pivotal role in helping Banking, Insurance, and Wealth & Asset Management clients reinvent their businesses. You will lead integrated engagements that combine strategy, technology, data, AI and experience to deliver measurable business value across South Africa and the broader Africa/MEA markets.

Client Reinvention & Delivery Leadership

• Lead end‑to‑end reinvention‑led strategy and transformation engagements
• Design future‑ready business and operating models
• Define value cases, benefits realisation and reinvention roadmaps
• Deliver AI‑enabled, GenAI‑driven and experience‑led transformations

Growth, Industry & Market Impact

• Support business development, proposals and client pursuits
• Contribute to industry points of view and reinvention offerings
• Position Accenture as the reinvention partner of choice

People & Culture Leadership

• Lead, coach and develop consulting teams
• Model client‑first and AI‑enabled ways of working
• Build inclusive, high‑performance teams

Qualification
Required

• 7+ years’ consulting or strategy experience
• Financial Services domain expertise
• Strong problem‑solving, stakeholder management and storytelling skills
• Understanding of Technology, Data, AI and GenAI
• Bachelor’s degree (Commerce, Business Science, Engineering or equivalent)

Preferred

• Sales and proposal experience
• Africa or emerging market exposure
• Passion for continuous innovation and learning
