    Supervisor Human Resources

    Minimum Required Qualification:

    • At least 5 years' experience in a HR related role with a full understanding of the HR value chain
    • NQF 6 (Diploma or Advanced Certificate) in HR or related field

    The Appointee should:

    • Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
    • Clear security screening record.
    • Valid driver’s license (if applicable).
    • Clear credit record.
    • Have experience in the systematic process of collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing raw data to discover trends, patterns, and insights

    Advantageous Qualifications:

    • Proficiencyin using AI software for content generation and research will be an added advantage

    Key Responsibilities:

    • HR Services Providing HR support to Human Resources Business Partners in the areas of employee relations, recruitment, Employee development, EE, Skills development and related elements to ensure HR objectives/targets are achieved. Act as Change agent for the achievement of the Transformation agenda trough functional targets, policies and procedures. Participate in the implementation, monitoring of HR related policies and procedures by effectively communicating new and updated policies to client group. Under the direction of the Unit Manager HR/HR business partner, assist in the implementation of promotions, transfers and salary adjustments. Drive & ensure compliance with any required legal requirements. Consult with internal stakeholders on various matters i.e. internal employment law. Understand and implement the HR strategic imperatives as required by the HR Head & functional lead. Coordination role to Management regarding labour productivity, employee records, HR process and documentation flows, employee development, performance management related processes and other HR related tasks and processes. Ensure discreet, timely and effective investigation and resolution of employee relation issues as they arise Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the HR Record Keeping System. Participation in HR related projects as directed HR Reporting Assist in the compilation, monitoring and maintaining labour/headcount and salary planning process by running and updating necessary reports Analyse HR related complaints and reports relating to referred HR matters and select the appropriate resolution processes by involving other SMEs. Compile and submit HR analytics (reports) to assist Management in any decision-making process. Manage ad hoc requests and projects such as headcount, turnover, merit, bonus, and reporting Drive and ensure data integrity on the HRIS system Stakeholder Relations Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally. Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders. Manage customer, regulatory and management expectations to meet HR objectives in line with the overall strategy Liaise with a range of customers, internal departments, Service Providers, cross-functional departments, Trade Unions, Operations and Government regulatory bodies Sourcing, contracting and negotiating with service providers. Liaising with the necessary entities on any environmental management related requirements and alignment where applicable. Collaborating with external service providers regarding the design and implementation of tools to enhance processes.
    • Financial Management Cost Savings: Leading and driving cost saving and cash conservation initiatives. Remaining competitive on the global cost curve for surface operations. Building a values-based organisational culture Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment. ESG Compliance Align to international responsible mining principles. SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs). SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS) initiative. US PGM Operations: Enhance together for ICCM principles. SHE Compliance Comply with SHE standards within the work environment and provide support in the execution of SHE activities within the Human Resource Discipline in line with Unit objectives. Participate in internal audits, risk assessments of the HR related discipline in line of responsible area and take appropriate action as per identified risks. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. SHE Management: Instil a culture of SHE leadership within the department. Participate in regional/local bodies and decision-making forums in the process developing a business relevant external environment, that will result in the longer-term sustainability of the Division. Quality Management System (QMS): Approve department’s documents. Comply with requirements of the Quality Management System. Focus on safe production & operational excellence Focus on safety and health as well as operational excellence Improve our position on global industry cost curve People Management Provide coaching and on-the-job training to reporting staff. Manage performance and development of reporting staff. Ensure fair work allocation for team members. Inspire team members towards high performance.
