Responsibilities And Qualifications
This position is located in Amsterdam
We are looking to grow our IT Infrastructure Team. If you’re a motivated team player looking for an opportunity to work with many different systems and technologies, this may be the fit for you!
In This Role You'll Get To
Be responsible for providing technical assistance (both local and remote) to our internal user community
Respond to requests for hardware, software or network support
Support end users with account creation, password reset, application and peripheral requests
Manage cloud-based corporate communications and messaging services
Maintain hardware and software lifecycles
Manage software and operating system deployments, configurations, and updates
Manage and maintain endpoint management and mobile device management solutions
Manage and maintain our internal infrastructure environment. The infrastructure is highly virtualized and incorporates many different technologies including, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, Dell, VMware and EMC
Monitor, tune and report on systems to ensure optimal performance and capacity
Recognize and troubleshoot problems with hardware, network connectivity, and software
Recommend proactive measures to ensure minimum downtime
Ensure all hardware and software issues and changes are properly documented and remediated
Use published standards and procedures to manage hardware and software
Develop and maintain the data protection, backup schedules and recovery plans for hardware and applications software within area of responsibility
Create and maintain technical documentation including runbooks, environment and application diagrams, data flow maps, security, etc.
Scope, plan and execute projects for solutions within area of responsibility
Work in an on-call capacity as part of the Infrastructure team
Escalate issues as required

We're Looking For People Who Have
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff to provide IT related information
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac systems and software; mobile devices and expe rience troubleshooting and installing computer hardware and applications software
Experience troubleshooting and installing driver, firmware and BIOS updates and who have e xperience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.)
Experience configuring and installing firewalls, switches, routers, and servers as well as k nowledge and experience managing WLAN solutions
Beneficial Knowledge
Previous desktop support experience
Knowledge of endpoint protection solutions
Active Directory user and group management
Microsoft SharePoint permission experience
Linux experience
Previous backup and disaster recovery experience
Experience supporting web application and database servers
Relevant industry standard certifications, frameworks, and training including Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Linux, CompTia, ITIL or others.
Network and systems monitoring / capacity planning experience
Excellent techni cal knowledge and aptitude in the areas of networks, network topologies, application and file/print servers, applicable software and troubleshooting techniques
