    Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sandton)

    Main purpose of the job

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist will build and extend relationships through excellence in recruitment process delivery including sourcing, screening and assessing candidates. This role focuses on high touch candidate relationship management. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the subject matter expert around applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing methodologies and recruitment process effectiveness.

    Talent Administration

    • Create and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates and/or building talent pools for current and future requirements
    • Use competency-based interview questions to identify and differentiate candidates in presentation and short-list process
    • Develop and implement sourcing strategies & channels to build relevant talent pools
    • Assess candidate suitability with regards to skills and fit for the business and area
    • Manage all candidates effectively throughout recruitment process
    • Conduct interactions with Managers in a timely, professional and responsive manner
    • Identify & communicate continuous improvement opportunities and strategies
    • Process Management & Sourcing
    • Follow agreed recruitment process for recruitment delivery
    • Candidate Relationship Management
    • Effectively communicate position opportunity and Company value proposition
    • Develop a deep understanding of your assigned business units
    • Develop and maintain relationships and seek referrals of other candidates
    • Manage candidate expectations and ensure timely and constructive feedback

    Adherence to SOP

    • Work closely with team members to generate a go to market sourcing strategy, gather competitive intelligence, develop targeted sourcing environments, conduct research and create talent maps
    • Stay current on market and/or functional trends and key developments
    • Keep abreast of sourcing best practices (systems, tools, and processes) utilizing the internal tools and technologies.
    • Follow recruitment process and procedures
    • Utilize required systems to track candidates, workflow, sourcing data, and screening information
    • Maintain data quality and accuracy on the company’s internal databases and client talent acquisition systems
    • Leverage relevant social media and communications channels

    Requirements

    Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position

    • Minimum 3 years of full life cycle recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment
    • Conducting competency/behavioural based interviews
    • Applicant Tracking System experience
    • Developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include market mapping, recruitment strategies and Boolean searches
    • Relevant Diploma/Degree
    • MIE user experience advantageous
