We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher ECD to join our team in 2026 to provide high-quality early childhood education to children aged 3 to 5 years old. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and a nurturing approach to teaching.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate and engaging curriculum for children in alignment with the school's goals and objectives
Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
Assess and monitor each child's progress and provide feedback to parents and caregivers as needed
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and integrated learning experience for children
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each child's development and learning milestones
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required
Qualifications:
NQF Level 5
Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting
Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and caregivers
