Tender Co-ordinator & Executive Support - JHB at Howden

What needs to be done?

• Support the business development teams in their day to day needs.
• Coordinate the process from enquiry receipt to tender submission.
• Type, compile tender submissions in accordance with policy.
• Support the division’s senior management team as and when required.
• Liaise with clients as required.
• Organise meetings when required.
• At all times adhere to procedures, instructions, quality and health & safety standards.
• Compliance: SOX Compliance: Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and AX controls.

What do you need to bring? 

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
• Ability to communicate and support at an executive level.
• 5 years’ experience in a similar role within an engineering environment
• Experience in project administration and knowledge of tender processes including tender briefings and submissions is required.
• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel.
• Strong administration skills and high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and work well to demanding deadlines.
