Test Analysis

• Develop quality assurance methodologies.
• Develop quality assurance and control techniques.
• Develop test strategies:
• Defines test scenario and develop test cases standards.
• Design and maintain test case templates.
• Analyses and develops the proper test coverage with the stakeholders.
• Undertake and monitor test preparation and execution activities.
• Identify and create necessary test data.
• Execute scenario-based test cases.
• Analyse test metrics for quality assessment.
• Produce requirements traceability matrix against test cases

Systems Development

• Develop test cases as per system functionality.
• Provide guidance to quality assurance and quality control techniques.
• Work with the project team and test team to address issues and report status.
• Partake in development of functional specifications in preparation for system development or improvements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for quality assurance and quality control.
• Define test targets and develop test plans.
• Develop/configure small to medium scale business solution using Microsoft Power Platforms

Business Solution Delivery

• Plan and conduct quality assurance on developed applications
• Analyse test failures and make recommendations.
• Debug test scripts against test targets.
• Trace requirements to test cases to verify test coverage.
• Monitor and update test cases and test plans.
• Monitor defects and produce defects report
• Priorities defects logged with development team.
• Coordinate and conduct User Acceptance Testing together with end users and business analysts
• Work with Business analysts to monitor User Acceptance Testing process.
• Undertaking all testing activities including test planning & execution.
• Documenting all test scripts and test evidence

Liaison and Coordination

• Liaise with service providers and internal clients when developing test cases and test plan
• Work with end users and business analysts to test the application.
• Lead the  development of test cases.
• Coordinate and conduct the end user training together with the Business Analysts
• Lead the user acceptance testing sessions
• Providing support for projects during implementation and post implementation

Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

• Nation Diploma in IT or related National Diploma
• Certificate in Software Application Testing

Ideal Qualification:

• ITQSB Certificate

Experience:

• 1 year System Development (using Microsoft Power platforms would be an added advantage)
• 3 years Demonstrate experience on testing complex integrated Systems.
• 3 years Working on ICT Projects as a Tester
