A Test Automation Engineer in the payment’s domain, specifically focusing on domestic low-value payments and the DebiCheck space. The candidate will be responsible for automating tests in a complex environment involving both legacy and new systems. The candidate will need to elevate the current test automation framework and migrate to tools like Playwright for automation and K6 for performance testing.
Our Ideal Candidate
Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, C#, and Java is required, along with experience in AWS technologies.
At least 3-5 years relevant experience in automation testing, including designing, developing, and executing automation scripts.
Excellent communication abilities to liaise with stakeholders and train junior team members.
Minimum Knowledge
Comprehensive understanding and experience in end-to-end processes being tested to achieve successful results.
Proficiency in conducting impact analysis when introducing software changes to assess potential risks and determine necessary testing efforts.
Strong knowledge of the Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its various phases.
Familiarity with best practices and industry standards in software and automated testing, including reporting, tracking, and follow-up, as well as Software Quality Assurance (SQA) principles.
Proficiency in using test management and automation tools to support testing activities.
Expertise in integration, regression, and automation testing techniques and methodologies.
Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end automation frameworks, such as Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, or Behaviour-Driven frameworks.
Experience in Test Case Design, creating effective test cases and test scenarios based on requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Minimum Education
Grade 12 National Certificate/Vocational
