    Travel Sales Consultant

    With our Tailormade Sales team spread over the UK, we are growing our team and looking for travel experts to join us in South Africa! Our Travel Sales Consultants are responsible for curating memorable holiday itineraries by using your in-depth knowledge to provide an unforgettable experience. You will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive with a thirst for sales, travelling and ensuring our customers always get an unrivalled customer experience from enquiry to returning back from their trip of a lifetime.

    What you will be doing

    • Speaking directly with our customers and Travel Agent partners to plan and create tailormade itineraries based on the customer’s requirements
    • Deliver exceptional service to customers providing a prompt response to queries, developing relationships and making appropriate recommendations
    • Proactively following up on prospective customer leads and working to achieve and exceed sales targets, as well as identifying new opportunities to upsell
    • Use our ‘Sales Framework’ to fully understand the customers’ requirements and offer the best call experience
    • Maintain a strong awareness of the current product offering and develop that knowledge through self-development as well as opportunities to attend educational trips to our destinations
    • Provide feedback to team leaders on the customers, market or information affecting conversion
    • Share knowledge among the team - feedback and present from trips
    • Looking after the full lifecycle of customer queries and service from pre- to post-departure

    What we're looking for

    To be successful in this role, you will have a thirst for travel with excellent destination knowledge, particularly with a focus on Europe destinations. Motivation for closing a sale, working towards sales targets and incentives is a must.

    You will place the customer as your top priority, providing a high level of service in order to enhance the enjoyment of their overall holiday experience. You will have the ability to prioritise tasks, showing flexibility and quick thinking, as well as proficiency with Microsoft applications, and reservation systems.
