Key performance areas

• Assist with planning and presenting sports practices and fitness activities.
• Support the coach during training sessions, matches and school events.
• Supervise learners and promote teamwork, discipline and good sportsmanship.
• Set up, maintain and pack away sports equipment.
• Monitor learner participation, safety and progress.
• Help with attendance records, team administration and communication.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• South African youth between 18 and 34 years old.
• Must be previously unemployed.
• Qualification in Sports Management, Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field.
• Living close to the Curro school you’re applying for.
• Energetic, reliable, and team-oriented.
• Please note: This is a stipend-based opportunity (not a salary).
• This is a 12-month contract position
