Job Vacancies in Mpumalanga

For the indigenes, what they love the most about Mpumalanga (the place where the sun rises) is the Kruger National park, which is their most cherished holiday destination. Apart from this park, Mpumalanga houses South Africa’s most magnificent sanctuaries. With mountains, valleys, rivers, forests, waterfalls, old towns, this province does well to uphold its name as the “Paradise country”.

When it comes to economy and employment, you can credit how thriving that of Mpumalanga is to its natural beauty and wonderful attractions which tourists could never get enough of and its manufacturing and mining power. Also, while it might be the smallest second province in SA, it has the fourth-largest economy in the country.

The province is South Africa’s top tourist attractions which allow a strong hospitality industry that supports job in that sector.

Mpumalanga corners the manufacturing market with large petrochemical industries such as Sasol II and III found in the Southern Highveld region where most manufacturing takes place. In its Northern region, chrome alloy and steel are also manufactured.

Mbombela (the capital city of Mpumalanga) is the commercial and administrative hub of the Lowveld. It is where industries manufacture agricultural and raw forestry products.

Mpumalanga is also famous for its coal reserves. It also houses most of the major power stations of which three of them are the largest in South Africa.  For job seekers, this means there are jobs in both the engineering and mining sectors.

Another thing this province does well is Agriculture and farming, offering an abundance of citrus and subtropical fruits, nuts, and a variety of vegetables.

Ranking amongst one of the best paying provinces in South Africa, alongside Kwazulu Natal, Eastern Cape and Gauteng, Mpumalanga is bursting with opportunities in engineering, management, sales, etc.
