    Senior Facilities Manager

    Introduction: 

     

    Our client is in the IT Industry based in Johannesburg and they are looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to support the Head of Facilities with implementing facilities management activities to maintain and project activities to enhance premises within South Africa.
     

    Duties & Responsibilities:

     

    • Providing professional and effective facilities management services delivery.
    • Managing contractual relationship with external contractors and outsource facilities management suppliers.
    • Supporting with implementation of P&FS global/regional led projects or initiatives.
    • Proactively demonstrate health, safety and security in the work environment.
    • Preparing monthly P&FS reportings for on time submission.
    • Identifying opportunities to add value to operations, this will include driving improvements in facilities services delivery and any cost reduction opportunities as well as working with Facilities teams.
    • Management of reactive, preventive and planned maintenance schedules for central office equipment (e.g. multi-functional printers, etc.), M&E, fixtures.
    • Manage all facilities services contracts to meet all Procurement policies.
    • Monitor and manage spend of Facilities operating expenditures to ensure within approved budget.
    • Review allocation of workspace to ensure business/users requirements are met and the usage of all available space is optimised.
    • Lead a small Facilities team supporting this job holder.

    Desired Experience & Qualification:

    • Matric.
    • Graduate/post graduate in the field of real estate, property or facilities management, if non preferably have working experience in the area relating to facility management and property.
    • Relevant experience in a similar role in corporate office environment or in building/property management.
    • Strong computer skills in MS Office and SharePoint.
    • Added advantage if have experience with facility management and property area.
    • Candidates must be available immediately.

    Package & Remuneration:

    • Salary: R30 000.00 - R50 000.00 per month.
    • 12 Month Contract.
