    Consultant: EUC Switch and WI-FI LAN Engineer

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Manage the Design of new IT solutions. 
    • Coordinate and manage Business Improvement initiatives and solutions 
    • Develop and provide inputs to proposals for new solutions, hardware and software 
    • Manage and Develop IT security related risks 
    • Manage Quality Assurance 
    • Human Resource Management. 
    • Financial Management. 

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 3-year Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT or related fields. Relevant ICT related certifications (ITIL, Product related, Quality, CCNP, HCNP etc) will be an added advantage. 
    • Experience: 6-7 years practical experience in switch and wi-fi and should include 3 Years’ experience as a Manager/ Specialist/Supervisor with management/supervision of business support/operations in a Corporate/Public Sector Organization. Management of performance of switches, wi-fi and other related infrastructure Management and resolution of incidents logged Experience in the provision of ICT solutions and services.

    Senior DevOps Engineer

    Key Responsibility Area 

    • Lead the design and development of new features for the software systems, and improvement of existing ones. 
    • Implementation, debugging, documentation and release of software solutions in a DevOps Environment. 
    • Provide maintenance, enhancement and support of the existing DevOps Platform. 
    • Perform software systems scripting in a DevOps Platform. 
    • Supervision of the DevOps Engineering development team.  

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 3-year National Higher Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 
    • Added Advantage: Any of the following Certification in Linux, Github, DevOps, Docker or Kubernetes. Knowledge of DevOps Platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Redhat OpenShift. 

    Experience:

    •  6 - 7 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), including solution development, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation.
    • Minimum 3 years’ extensive DevOps experience: Utilise DevOps tools/technologies to establish automated CI/CD pipelines lifecycle for .Net and Java related solutions Designing and implementing Docker, Docker Hub and Kubernetes DevOps solutions in a Cloud Infrastructure environment GitLab Windows Operating System Linux Operating System Design and implement monitoring reporting in a DevOps Environment Understand HTTP(S), SSL certificates, Firewalls, Docker Networking, Docker Volumes/Binds, Environment Variables and VPNs
    • The experience must include experience in solution analysis, design, and development for the development, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of systems within the corporate/public sector, including: Successfully developed and implemented applications using a DevOps Practice, underpinning Agile methodologies.
    • Software development team leadership competency Software development deliverable effort planning, estimations and execution management Developed efficient and effective IT solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status. Experience in interacting with customers.

    Senior Manager: Service Management

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • To be accountable and manage the IT Service Desk, Customer Contact Centre and the Business Process Outsourced service desks in order to facilitate the resolution of client’s queries ensuring that service level agreements are kept at optimal levels. Provide first line telephonic support and remote support. 
    • To be accountable and have authority as complete Service Management technology enablement process owner. Execute, provide and manage technology environments to proactively monitor performance of IT Service Management processes and to better support and maintain critical services provided to the business. 
    • To be accountable and have authority as complete Service Management process owner ensuring that policies and processes are developed, evaluated, monitored and implemented for all Service Management processes, namely, Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations, Continual service improvement and in identifying, planning, delivering and supporting IT services to SITA and customers. Ensure that the Service Management processes are adopted across all IT departments within SITA. 
    • To be accountable and have authority to manage, lead, and directs all components of Service Management technology and support in order to provide and continually enhance Service Management technology and other related technologies 
    • Manage Human Resources 
    • Supports the development of customer service standards, policies and procedures for the organization and align it with government departments.  

    Qualifications and Experience 

    • Minimum: 3-4-year National Diploma / National First Degree in Software Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant equivalent 
    • Experience: 9-10 years’ experience in Service Management, including: 5 years’ experience in the infrastructure using ITIL framework. 3 years’ experience in the ICT Governance role. 5 years management experience.

    Network Engineer (Unified Comm)

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Design, implement, and support voice services 
    • Contribute to the long-term unified communications (UC) design strategy and roadmap, including core voice architecture, engineering standards, and best practice guides. 
    • Plan and execute upgrades and migrations of legacy voice systems to modern solutions. 
    • Conduct capacity planning and optimization for voice network resources. 
    • Configure, install, and maintain VoIP systems and related infrastructure. 
    • Collaborate with network engineers to ensure seamless integration of voice and data networks. 
    • Provide daily administration for all voice network infrastructure. 
    • Monitor voice network performance to identify and resolve issues promptly. 
    • Analyze call traffic patterns and quality metrics to enhance system performance. 
    • Perform routine maintenance and updates on voice communication systems. 
    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users facing voice communication issues. 
    • Provide user support and attend to logged voice incidents. 
    • Identify voice-related issues and risks and develop appropriate mitigation plans. 
    • Develop and maintain documentation for voice infrastructure and related processes. 
    • Manage the infrastructure that enables voice services 

    Qualifications and Experience 
    Minimum:

    • 3-year National Diploma/Degree in IT or Engineering related field (Computer Science, Information Technology/Engineering). Industry certification: CCNA Collaboration or any related CCNA Voice certificate. 
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience with Voice gateways and CUCM v11.5 
    • Session Border Controller Configuration Experience 
    • Strong SIP knowledge 
    • 3 years working experience in Voice technologies (Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Finesse and etc) 
    • Fundamental understanding of IP Networking (Wide Area Network (WAN), Network topology, Application Layer and routing protocols) 
    • Configure features and functionalities as per customer specifications. 
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2 Service Requests for Unified Communications installations. 
    • Ensure accurate completion of installations and that queries are attended and resolved timeously, as per the relevant Service Level Agreement. 
    • Fundamental understanding of VoIP Troubleshooting.

    Key Responsibility Areas 

    • Develop/ Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency using SITAs software development stack/ development framework; 
    • Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met; 
    • Produce detailed specifications and writing the programme codes; 
    • Maintain the integrated IT software components systems once they are up and running; and
    • Develop integrated technical service specifications for single or multiple software components to clearly set direction for procuring or building software components.
