    Customer Data Management and Analytics

    Key Responsibilities

    • Active and creative design of data analytics routines and data potential identification for enhanced Campaigning and CEx processes.
    • Definition of business rules for data management & CRM analytics.
    • CoC and custodian of customer data.
    • Defining routines and procedures to measure database health, and responsibility for continuously improving database health.
    • Systems CoC, including process enhancements.
    • Analyse and derive learnings from the data for sales model development in central strategic initiatives Future Sales Models and Sales Platfrom.
    • Responsible for roll-out, communication, training and enabling of personnel in system utilisation for performance
    • Yearly database cleanse activities via internal and external agencies.
    • Sales and Marketing system enhancement to achieve long term business objectives.
    • Actively support NSP with business data rules and campaign segmentation
    • Transfer of learnings from sales model in South Africa to central Future Sales Models initiative.
    • Challenges with regards to innovation and change
    • Challenging existing reports and analysis and championing new dashboards and reports.
    • Deriving sales model improvements from existing data of live market and suggesting these to central initiatives.
    • With the central BMW team, Rockar as well as globally with the whole BMW Group as this will be an integral New retail sales model function.
    • Communicate with the entire team as well as all of the marketing partners.
    • As new retail sales model is brand new the person will use their knowledge of marketing and funnel management and define new processes in analysing data and ensure we constantly improve on date analytics/ changing the customer journey and ensuring that our marketing campaigns are impactful. This is brand new as we are the first market that is in a direct sales model globally.
    • This person will need to be able to analyse and solve problems that have never been encountered before.
    • Both customers who are engaging on the new platform in order to determine their customer journey experience as well as internal IT development teams and marketing teams and then also external with marketing partners
    • University degree, preferable in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering and Management
    • Data Analysis or Statistical experience is essential
    • Business development / sales experience
    • Extensive experience in the automotive industry (business development / sales) would be beneficial.

    Specialist: Finance Accounting – Parts & Accessories (FL V)

    The successful incumbent is expected to carry out Financial accounting & management reporting functions for full income statement and balance sheet for Customer Support: Parts & Accessories (C3-ZA-A) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The role will also be responsible for Monitoring and steering of Customer Support: Parts & Accessories profitability target with FC-43 on a NSC level as well as Group level. This includes Full forecasting, budgeting, and Long Range Planning functions.

    Working closely with Customer Support: Parts & Accessories (C3-ZA-A), the successful candidate will ensure that the business has sufficient financial information and analysis for decision making and ensure that the actions of business are correctly reflected in the financial accounting structure and management reports. Furthermore, be involved in Project initiatives from time to time to improve business performance and financial accounting & reporting.

    The above is relevant to both the local dealer network as well as SSA.

    You will ensure overall compliance to ICS (Internal Controls Systems).

    Education and competencies

    • Minimum BCom Accounting or similar with 2-3 years post article experience.
    • Work experience within the BMW Group particularly advantageous.

    Manager: IT

    STRATEGIC

    • Accountable for strategically planning of future projects/ initiatives from an IT and Business process point of view for BMW Financial Services.
    • Support BMW Group Standardization by influencing Business processes and IT technologies used.
    • Pro-actively advise BMW Financial Services on IT related matters in support of achieving Business Goals and Business Strategy.
    • Performs on regional initiatives in the region i.e. Maintain up to date Skills Matrix, adapt department skill set to modernizing, evolving and customer facing technologies.
    • Automation of department processes to ensure an increase in the speed to deliver of requests to market.
    • Liaise closely with the Project Portfolio Manager with regards to prioritization, timelines, budget and project status

    PLANNING

    • Accountable to identify requirements and plan resources for the 3 domains i.e. Retail Application Management, Retail Contract Management and Commercial Finance, Insurance Finance and Banking, according to local and International project demands in area of responsibility.

    • 10+ years experience in the Systems Development Lifecycle.

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Products and Operating Systems.
    • Knowledge of IT quality standards and management.
