    Head of Project Management Office

    This role calls for results-oriented and business-driven/big-picture thinking individuals to put their names forward.

    Key Deliverables

    • Establish the Project Management Office structure and operating model
    • Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO strategy, services, roles, and responsibilities
    • Ensure a high-quality professional centralised Project Portfolio Management Framework and structure is set up and maintained
    • Provide and maintain a strategic project management service for the Business
    • Act as a point of escalation for Portfolio related queries
    • Drive adoption and entrenchment of process and policy into the organisation with the support of the Executives and the Senior Leadership Team
    • Ensure compliance with process and policy through training, monitoring, and management
    • Interface with executives to define project priorities and implementation opportunities and challenges and keep them up to date with project risks
    • Provide executive leaders with the information needed to assess which proposals have the highest potential value, impact, and strategic alignment
    • Accountable to ensure that Portfolio Reports are complete, accurate, and delivered at agreed intervals:
    • Portfolio Demand
    • Forecasting future resource capacity

    Qualifications And Experience Required

    • University degree or equivalent in the field of Information Technology / Commerce and/or Project Management
    • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent
    • 10+ years of relevant work experience in either Program, Project,, or Portfolio management in large-scale, high-risk, or strategic projects
    • Sound experience leading, managing, hiring, training, and mentoring a leadership team
    • Solid experience and knowledge of the SDLC and software product and services industry
