    Senior Legal Officer

    Purpose

    • Assist with the administration relating to end-to-end dealings with clients to support SSA.
    • Provide internal and external clients with administration and relevant expertise.
    • Ensure internal and external clients are provided with an efficient, professional and high-quality services which meets all their obligations.

    Key responsibilities

    • Under the supervision and guidance of the Manager, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring overall the effective and efficient delivery of TMF’s services:

    Client relationship management

    • Arrange for signature and timely return of contracts.
    • Liaise with clients to schedule meetings and resolve diary conflicts as required.
    • Telephone management and coordination of conference calls.
    • Channeling of communication to appropriate destinations (timeously).

    Service Delivery

    • Maintain record-keeping processes relating to client information.

    On quotation:

    • Load, update & track progress of all issued quotes on CRM and internal quote systems.
    • ensure adequate recordkeeping of accepted quotes (including z drive, Sales App, Evo, CRM, etc.)

    On quote acceptance:

    • update relevant database systems.
    • Prepare, maintain and update client and subcontractor lists (per ISO requirements).
    • In conjunction with the Managing Director or Project Manager, assist with the provision of input in respect of the creation of a          client profile and/or file on all core systems including, but not limited to, Evo, TMF network, TimeWare, SecWare, TaxWare, CaseWare, etc., as appropriate. 
    • Assist with the resolution of client queries and coordinate the related communication on a timely basis.
    • Ensure that all tasks required to effectively onboard a client or subcontractor within required timelines are completed efficiently, professionally, and timeously.
    • Act as a point of escalation for clients, subcontractors, and within TMF.
    • Hold the service line teams to account ensuring administrative activities are completed as planned and in line with applicable timelines.

    Legal, Risk, and Compliance

    • In conjunction with the Managing Director or Project Manager, prepare the Local Service Agreement (“LSA”), Statement of Work (“SoW”), amendments, subcontractor agreements, and secure client and/or subcontractor sign-off.
    • In conjunction with the Managing Director or Project Manager, complete the TMF Group compliance process (KYC) and secure client, subcontractor, or internal sign-off.
    • Maintain legal email inbox on a daily basis.
    • Upload updated draft legal agreements on the z drive.
    • Update the BCP and ISO business processes and procedures as they relate to the business unit.
    • Implement and maintain record-keeping processes relating to legal documentation and client/ subcontractor information.
    • Adhere to TMF internal procedures and ensure compliance with TMF’s Risk and Control framework and processes.
    • Attend and participate in regular and appropriate training on relevant policies, legislation, and regulations affecting TMF, clients and subcontractors.

    General

    Technical Application Manager/ Business Analyst 'ORCA'

    Job purpose

    For our Global KYC/ AML Transformation team, we are looking for an experienced application manager who will extend our existing international team of experts to configure and maintain our   new end-to-end KYC/ AML software solution. This software solution will be used for performing all necessary KYC/ AML actions for all service lines within TMF Group: A&T, GEM, HRP, Funds & Investors etc. Additionally, ORCA will be used to perform KYC as a Service activities for external clients.

    The emphasis of this role will be on analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement and configuring the ORCA system to ensure that our colleagues in different delivery centers around the globe will be able to perform our KYC/ AML actions in an effective and efficient way. It also requires that we develop the ORCA application in such a way that it is easy and simple to use. This includes but is not limited to implementing process improvements and connecting with external software modules.

    In summary, ensuring that we translate our process improvements into a software solution that enables “one way of working” for all 85+ TMF offices including 1st line, 2nd Line, Management Teams and our Group KYC/ AML Compliance Centre. It also includes customizing the application for specific jurisdictions. The Technical Application Manager is responsible for the full application management cycle: process analyse, design, development, configuration, testing.

    As the Application Manager you are responsible for analyzing processes, designing and documenting improvements, analyzing and co-designing the software architecture of the new Global KYC/ AML Engine, configuration & execution of the subsequent implementation worldwide. The role also serves as an intermediary position between decision makers and IT professionals to keep track of progress and performance while working to ensure that business process outcomes are in harmony with TMF’s strategic goals.

    As the Technical Application Manager, you will work collaboratively across all departments of the organization to help improve the execution of our KYC/ AML software engine. The focus is on the entire KYC/ AML process from beginning to end, introducing innovation and efficiency into the process and application that can impact results, enhance profitability, and assist the organization to meet its business objectives and goals.

    To be successful as the Technical Application Manager, you will have a strong knowledge process analysis, root cause analysis, project management skills, computer networking and administration, ability to create, develop and oversee protocol and procedure for usage once standard have been established, as well as expertise with troubleshooting to provide systems-related technical support and resolution by reviewing issues and providing relevant solutions. Ultimately, the Technical Application Manager possesses excellent fluency in software and systems, high attention to detail and the ability to adhere and deliver to deadlines.

    Additionally, the Technical Application Manager of ORCA must have experience with operational IT and a deep knowledge of process management during technical roll-outs. Implementing applications and software often creates new operational challenges that must be accounted for. The role will be responsible for identifying these barriers and locating process-based solutions that can mitigate unplanned downtime, eliminate productivity losses and maximize IT benefits.

    Key Responsibilities

    This role will focus on the design, development and configuration of an end-to-end KYC/ AML engine within TMF Group. The key aspects of the role are as follows.

    Senior Fund Legal Officer

    IFRS and Consolidation Specialist

    Senior Client Service Manager

    Key Responsibilities 

    • Act as a main client contact from TMF for global clients.
    • Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key service/functional owners on client account and be the main point of contact for the client for day-to-day delivery matters and changes to scope. Respond or re-direct queries accordingly to provide a good client service.
    • Understand the client contracts in detail (including scope and local delivery models) for a broad range of clients.
    • Accountable for overall service & project delivery on Client Account, identifying risks and opportunities for retention or growth.

    • Manage proactive initiatives to improve client satisfaction, based on but not limited to feedback provided through regular client surveys. With this client feedback, create and maintain a Client Service Plan which includes a plan on what improvements are required.
    • Hold regular business reviews with the client to ensure delivery to their P&L, providing them with regular data on KPI delivery and any other relevant information.
    • Hold regular internal business review meetings with local offices to identify performance and any improvements.
    • Manage the annual contract review by ensuring the scope of the contract remains relevant in all areas both in terms of scope, volume and pricing. Identify if any contracts parts require renewal in the next 6 months and agree a plan with the client to ensure all contracts remain current, plus confirm that operational readiness for the year ahead is in place.
    • Support Client Service Director in recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees and any other team management activities.
    • Act as a deputy of Client Service Director, as required.

    Key Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant practice field.
    • Experience in the area of HR depending on service line allocation)
    • Is fluent, clear, and concise in English written and oral communication.
    • Substantial, at least five years, experience working in a client-facing environment, with a good track record of delivering services

    Fund Services, Onboarding and Investor AML-KYC Manager

    This position will operate as a subject matter expert for fund client onboarding and investor AML/KYC services, including procedural issues and technical issues. The postholder is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of fund client onboarding investor AML/KYC.

    • You will service as a communication and escalation bridge between fund clients, investors, management and compliance 
    • You will ensure a professional, timely response and processing of fund client & investor queries and instructions
    • You will assist with special projects, including improvements to tools and equipment, which may rise from time to time
    • You will populate, update and monitor completeness of relevant internal systems with CDD, client and other related information and documentation for client onboarding and investor AML/KYC purposes
    • You will provide support to any internal and external audits as well as compliance reviews
    • You will help the Onboarding and Investor AML/KYC team members when needed

    Key Requirements

    • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in finance or finance (with law), banking and finance, law and management, business administration, or a related discipline
    • You have at least 7 years of relevant experience in an AML/KYC and/or CDD environment
    • You have at least 4 years of relevant experience in managing a large team
    • You have a sound understanding of Know Your Customer requirements and international standards requirements in relation thereto.
    • You have strong research and analytical skills
    • You have high attention to detail, accuracy and excellent organizational skills (essential for this role)
    • You have strong multi-tasking skills

    Senior Business Development Manager

    About the role

    The Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for bringing in new business from the market and expanding the company’s market share. This individual will develop and maintain a network of client/intermediary relationships, and translate prospects into clients, while also upselling and cross selling to an existing client portfolio. The candidate will operate at a senior level, dealing with high profile clients and handling complex international corporate structures. The commercial focus of role is the to bring in new business for TMF Group’s portfolio of services, including HR & Payroll; Corporate Secretarial; Accounting & Tax; and Trust and Corporate Services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop the business by building new business pipelines, as well as upselling and cross-selling to existing clients.
    • Identify and optimize sales opportunities, using knowledge of the market and competitors, as well as TMF’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
    • Anticipate, identify and exploit legal/fiscal developments and changes in market conditions.
    • Represent TMF in the marketplace, and develop and maintain a network of client/intermediary relationships that will enable a strong, consistent pipeline for conversion into sales.
    • Create and explore new business opportunities i.e. new clients, new services, new markets and geographies
    • Utilise effective relationships to maximize opportunities for cross referrals
    • Manage the contact to contract sales process efficiently and effectively, with transparency.
    • Develop proposals that address clients’ needs, concerns and objectives.
    • Work as part of a deal team to ensure the best customer experience and response.
    • Leverage input from other internal teams to maximize overall deal value to the business.
    • Act as the Deal Lead for large opportunities, from initiation to closure, and create development plans for large client accounts
    • Lead the coordination and presentation of multi-jurisdictional sales proposals to international clients.
    • Proactively develop relationships with clients, and provide operational teams with customer feedback on pricing, service and quality improvements.
    • Drive cross-selling opportunities, working with existing clients as they expand into or operate in other jurisdictions serviced by TMF offices in over 80 countries across the globe.
    • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets, aligned with the company’s objectives
    • Contribute to the development of the sales team, boosting overall productivity and effectiveness, and improving conversion rates
    • Work with leadership to implement best practice, and create strategies for sales improvement based on market research and/or competitor analysis

    Key Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or a related field. Post-graduate qualification (ie. MBA) would be advantageous
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a commercial environment, or in consulting, accounting or law firms.
    • Experience in winning business in the capital markets and company secretarial function is advantageous. 
    • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
    • Extensive industry experience within the market, with personal market credibility, a solid network, and an interest in our portfolio of services
    • Ability to build strong relationships with clients at all levels.
    • Able to “solution sell” where the ability to listen to the clients and understand what they really need is more important than a hard sell.
    • Able to manage coordination of complex multi-jurisdictional proposals involving multiple business lines.
    • Self-motivated and able to collaborate and to drive results in a matrix environment
    • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
    • Results-oriented, and able to manage their priorities, deadlines and workload
    • Regular travel is required.
