    Control Room Operator

    Our client in Pretoria has an opportunity for a Control Room Operator.
    Requirements

    • NQF Level 4 equivalent/ABET Level 4/Grade 10 qualification and Grade C certification
    • PSIRA registered and certified
    • CCTV Operator Course Skill
    • Clear criminal record or any pending cases
    • 2 years working experience
    • Control room environment experience
    • Be organised and have good time management skills
    • Have the ability to manage priorities
    • Have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Have the ability to work well as part of a team
    • Be responsible and reliable, highly methodical working methods
    • Have a diligent work ethic with attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and pro-active
    • Computer literate
    • Experience in working in corporate security services

    KPA’s

    • Maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and external stakeholders by monitoring and managing CCTV Camera and Building Management Systems.
    • Operate all radio communication systems and to ensure that they are fully operational with hourly radio checks performed to all manned security posts.
    • Monitor CCTV cameras and initiate appropriate response to suspicious activities.
    • Export and save the footage as per training provided to accompany the South African Police Service
    • Perform administration duties relating to a control room environment and ensure that all control room registers are completed accurately and neatly

    Client based in the Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Claims Clerk with a background in monthly pensions.
    Requirements

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in claim administration or
    • 3 years’ surplus related experience
    • Numerical Skills
    • 3 year’s surplus related experience
    • Knowledge of Navigation of mainframe system

    KPAs

    • Administration of Claims nationally and internationally (Death, Retirement & Monies in Trust).
    • Calculating various benefits payable.
    • Completing and submitting necessary statistical reports.
    • Handling of tax queries and issuing certificates.
    • Customer queries relating to pension maintenance and general enquiries.

    Technologist: Process Control and Instrumentation

    Our client in the FMCG Industry has an opportunity available for a Technologist: Process Control and Instrumentation. This will be based in Port Elizabeth.
    Requirements

    • B. Tech or N5/N6 Instrumentation
    • 5 Years experience in process control environment
    • 7 Years experience on Siemens S7-300, 400, 1200 & 1500 PLC. (S5 & S7 range)
    • Experience on S.C.A.D.A system (Wonderware & Siemens)
    • Possible exposure to dangerous situations or poisonous materials

    KPAs

    • Maintain the process control & instrumentation
    • Optimise of all control systems regarding processes and production lines
    • Responsible for normal and preventative maintenance on process control systems
    • Responsible to assist with all Capex expenditures where relevant within the Technical - New Development department, relating to Electrical and Control/Automation systems
