Minimum Requirements

• Trade Test as Electrician
• Above ABET Level 4 in numeracy and communication
• Code 08 Drivers license
• At least 3 years in heavy industry
• HT Cables and Switchgear Transformers, MCC, AC Motors, DC Motors, AC & DC Drives (Basics), ESPs, Instrumentation (Basics) Maintenance Systems, Weigh feeders and PLC’s

• Prompt reaction time to breakdowns and work requests

Minimum Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• S4/N6 Light Current, Instrumentation or Equivalent
• Valid driver’s license

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE

• 5-year plant experience in a heavy milling industrial environment
• Basic knowledge of LV/MV electrical equipment and reticulation systems will be an advantage.
• Experience plant instrumentation temperature, flow, level, position, pressure, and energy metering.
• Programming and fault finding on Siemens S7 PLCs and HMIs
• Wonderware AVEVA and Intouch SCADA platforms.
• Working knowledge of power electronics
• AC/DC Drives (ABB, Yaskawa, SEW and Siemens).
• Networking: ASI, Profibus, Fiber and Ethernet
• Experience in high-speed process (Bulk loading, Packers and palletizers)
• Calibration and Verifications methodology of instrument, mass flow meters and weigh bridges
• Working knowledge of dust emission monitoring and dust collection.
• Computer Literate – MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.
• Fault finding on Hydraulic systems.
• Basic knowledge on Solar energy production and RMU switching devices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must inspect the conveyor and bins to ensure that there is no raw materials and any other material, wood, metal, plastic or paper objects on the conveyor or in the bins.
• During loading and production, he/she must inspect the Plant to ensure that loading / Production is done smooth and without stoppages.
• If he/she sees any problems at the plant, then it must be reported immediately to the Plant Supervisor / Batcher
• The Plant Assistant is responsible for the cleaning of the plant
