    PLM Software Specialist

    DUTIES:

    Windchill Business Administration duties:

    • Lead in large Digital Technology projects in the PLM environment.
    • Work with externally contracted world leading PLM software specialists to execute PLM projects & system upgrades.
    • Configuring PLM system environments to implement and optimise process solutions.
    • Configuration and Managing PLM environment to ensure excellent data governance.
    • Supervise Windchill User Roles, Domain Policies, Access Control and Product Contexts.
    • Mentor to PLM Team support personnel and Business team Super user.
    • Constant evaluation of PLM systems with the focus on Operational Expenses

    Windchill System Administration duties:

    • Setting standards on optimising Windchill system health and stability.
    • Have a good understanding of all the following activities to be able to supervise, mentor and/or troubleshoot with various teams responsible for:
    • Managing Windchill Servers, Services and Properties via System Administration Utilities, Windchill Shell and various property files
    • Managing various object Queues (e.g. Publication Queues and Workflow queues)
    • Check System performance using Monitoring Tools
    • Assist IT with Database diagnostics.
    • Managing of CAD visualisation Publishing System (e.g. CAD Workers and Arbortext Publisher workers)
    • Windchill license management - Manage variety of annually renewed user subscription licenses.
    • Monitor License Usage
    • Assist IT in Daily, weekly, Monthly System Monitoring & cleanup tasks (Diskspace usage, Removing unreferenced files from Vaults)
    • Managing & trouble shooting log files -SQL server log files, Directory Server Logs, Method Server Logs, Web server logs
    • Perform Workgroup Manager Maintenance Tasks
    • Configure Windchill, Creo, Arbortext, Creo Illustrate and Publishing Engine integrations.
    • Apply Maintenance Patches and Updates when required.
    • Execute Major Windchill upgrades as required with the help of 3rd party strategic partners.
    • Work with IT to Clone Production servers to Test Server
    • Windchill Browser Support
    • Windchill SQL database support
    • Java Support
    • Web Server and Servlet Engine Support
    • Windchill Software compatibility Matrices Support
    • Troubleshooting system issues

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering/ Information systems/ 5 years’ Experience in Windchill System & Business Administration
    • Minimum 5 years in relevant Digital Technology Systems/Engineering
    • Fast Learner with excellent listening and analytical skills.
    • Good understanding of PLM processes in Discrete Manufacturing Business
    • Excellent Information System problem-solving skills on production systems
    • Excellent communication skills & ability to interact at all levels.
    • Ability to manage daily time utilisation and workload.

    ADVANTAGES:

    • Experience in Content Management (DITA & Arbortext)
    • Understanding of XML language use in object configuration files.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants must be qualified Earthmoving Mechanics with ten years experience
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Good management, planning & people skills

    Applicants must have a sound knowledge of:

    • Safety regulations, technical requirements
    • Environmental regulations
    • Industrial relations
    • Good HR skills-interviewing skills

    Customer Support Representative

    DUTIES:

    • Planned, frequency determined, customer visits.
    • Provide technical assistance.
