    Financial Accountant

    Description    

    • We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Financial Accountant, who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial accounting processes and operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance and supporting strategic financial decision-making. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and good understanding of IT systems and process flows and the ability to manage and mentor junior staff.

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    Responsibilities:

    Financial Operations

    • Oversee reconciliations with 3rd parties and resolving data issues
    • Cashflow management and planning
    • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implement best practices.
    • Support automation initiatives to improve efficiency in finance operations.

    Financial Reporting & Analysis

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations, trends, and insights to management.
    • Ensure accurate consolidation of group management accounts.
    • Maintain the general ledger and oversee journal entries.
    • Review balance sheet accounts, including intercompany accounts.
    • Monitor and manage fixed assets, depreciation, and inventory accounting.
    • Review and approve accounts payable and receivable processes.

    Compliance & Controls

    • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
    • Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and explanations.

    Budgeting & Forecasting

    • Assist in preparing annual budgets.
    • Monitor budget vs actual performance and provide management reports. 

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Mentor and supervise junior accountants, ensuring high-quality work output.
    • Provide training on accounting standards, processes, and systems.

    Minimum Requirements    
    Requirements and skills

    • Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and risk management.
    • Must be good in adapting to change and resilient.
    • Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
    • Excellent math skills with an attention to detail
    • Time-management abilities
    • Qualification in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
    • Additional certification (e.g. AGA(SA), SAIPA) is a plus

    Dispatch Team Lead

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Plan, coordinate, and control daily dispatch activities.
    • Ensure shipments follow courier cut-off times and SLA agreements.
    • Allocate resources and manage daily workload for the dispatch team.
    • Verify order accuracy and correct allocation of serialised/SIM stock.
    • Oversee packaging compliance, correct labelling, and waybill completion.
    • Reconcile system stock vs. physical stock and investigate variances.
    • Maintain dispatch area organisation, compliance, and housekeeping (LEAN/5S).
    • Liaise with couriers, 3PLs, and internal stakeholders.
    • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting and KPIs.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a warehouse dispatch function
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a team lead or supervisory role
    • Proven experience working with telecommunication or serialized products
    • Experience working in SLA-driven environments with strict security controls for high-value stock
    • Experience managing 3PL or courier integrations (e.g., SkyNet, The Courier Guy, RAM)
    • Experience in dispatch planning and courier management
    • Experience with mobile network operators (MNOs) or distributors (advantageous)

    Customer Service Consultant

    Description    

    • Hello Group is seeking to appoint a dedicated Customer Service Consultant to join our Call Centre Department. The Customer Service Consultant will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound calls. This role involves handling customer inquiries, verifying and requesting source of funds documents, and accurately capturing detailed information into the bank's ticketing system. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for authenticating customers when their banking information changes and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while managing their assigned tickets.

    Key responsibilities

    Inbound & Outbound Calls:

    • Handle inbound customer inquiries and proactively manage outbound calls related to source of funds requests.
    • Compliance: Ensure all processes follow the bank's compliance guidelines, particularly related to anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
    • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    Client authentication:

    • Authenticate customers when there is a change in their banking information, following security protocols to protect client data.
    • 2-part Verification of client: voice call and video call the client
    • Attending to incoming calls

    Ticket Management:

    • Manage and prioritize daily tickets assigned by the team, ensuring timely follow-up with customers to request source of funds and resolve any issues.
    • Request and verify source of funds documents from clients in compliance with the bank’s policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Regularly follow up on tickets at least once a week.
    • Document Verification: Check the accuracy and authenticity of the source of funds documentation provided by clients.
    • Cross reference information, verify Bank statements, ID’s, POPS’ and payment notifications.
    • Data Entry: Accurately capture and record detailed information received from clients into the bank’s ticketing system.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • Matric Certificate
    • Multiple Languages (Advantageous)
    • Customer service qualification (Advantageous)
    • Knowledge of CRM Bank, OS ticket and Core Banking systems (Advantageous)
    • Multiple Languages (Advantageous)
    • Experience in customer service (Advantageous)
    • Computer/Mobile Literate
