MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Agricultural Diploma/ Certificates advantageous
• Previous packhouse experience essential
• Previous potato experience advantageous
• Computer literate

• Ability to speak Xhosa

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• Studying towards or possessing a qualification in human resource management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field would be ideal
• At least 1-3 years’ experience as an assistant
• Experience working within an operational environment would be advantageous

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assist to maintain the complete employee life cycle from onboarding to exit
• Assist to administrate the recruitment and selection process
• Assist to ensure accurate and proper administration of files, employment contracts, promotions and transfers on the HR system and in line with processes
• Provide support with employee orientation, induction and training
• Provide support with the administration of Workers Committees and Housing Committees
• Assist to maintain employee records and statistics – leave, absenteeism, and productivity
• Assist with the administration and scheduling of disciplinary hearings
• Assist with HR and/ or statutory Compliance audits
• Assist with consolidating necessary information to compile HR related reports
• Provide administrative support with Workplace Skills Plans
• Assist with the planning and organizing of Staff Welfare, Corporate Social Initiatives and events Perform any other reasonable duties as requested

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant tertiary qualification – diploma or degree within agricultural field or similar
• Proven experience with genetics / milk recording / registration of animals / animal health / genotyping / bull selection / herd and stud book etc
• Great stockmanship and strong cow classification ability essential
• Previous dairy experience advantageous
• Knowledge of dairy cows and dairy farming operation essential
• Previous agricultural sales management experience advantageous
• Computer literate
• Be a motivated, energetic self-starter, capable of taking initiative and working with people
• Love COWS and agriculture
• Must be willing to travel extensively

• Mechanically and maintenance orientated
• Valid drivers’ license

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Revise annual profit centre plan and full budget preparation. (Ability to conceptualize a plan and implementation)
• Execute the plan as approved by the Board.
• Ability to work independently.
• Feeding plan for different divisions.
• Feed manufacturing (Plant on the farm).
• Bio security plan (Disease, parasites internal and external)
• Labour relations
• Mechanical skills
• Experience and tertiary education will be a strong recommendation.
• Computer and admin skills
• Ability to work with corporate and international guests.
