RESPONSIBILITIES

Execution of Marketing and Communication Strategy

• Responsible for aligning Marketing and Communications initiatives with strategic objectives
• Measure the strategic impact of such.
• Ensure our global brand integrity across the mining industry
• Serve as the expert in digital marketing tactics and strategy within the business
• Suggest new campaign ideas, targeting, and optimisation efforts to achieve business goals

Manage Communication

• Plan, organise, and disseminate timely and accurate corporate communication
• Raise awareness of Fraser Alexander's values, purpose, operations, services, projects, events, and challenges among key audiences identified in communication plans
• Design the visual identity of marketing materials
• Ensure the appropriate branding for various reports

Media Relations Liaison

• Manage crisis situations effectively
• Corporate Social Investment (CSI) and Social Economic Development (SED) knowledge sharing.
• Monitor media coverage and provide reports
• Draft articles, speeches, and all external/internal communications

Brand, Events and Social Media Management

• Promote, manage and monitor brand identity
• Ensure consistency of the brand throughout the business
• Manage branding and communication regarding all events
• Manage CEO roadshows, year end function, industry events, and internal employee events
• Develop and implement social media plan
• Monitor and report on social media presence in the market

General Administration

• Manage the Marketing and Communication budget effectively
• Communicate events plans to the relevant stakeholders

Written Reports

• Compile data, information and consolidate Marketing and Communications monthly and quarterly reports

Project Management 

• Budget administration Management of Marketing and communications projects

• Assist with HR document editing and formatting

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Honours Degree in Public Relations Management or Marketing Communication or Brand Management

EXPERIENCE

•  Minimum 8 years of experience in the similar role

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical

• Analyse current technologies used within Fraser Alexander and determine ways to improve
• Evaluation and recommendation of technology in support of the business goals and optimise the delivery capability
• Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution
• Ensure that introduction of new technologies will not pose any threats to the technology ecosystem
• Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualise solution development across products, services, projects, and systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information)
• Assessment and proof of concept of new and emerging hardware and software technologies and products based on the organisation's needs and overall strategy
• Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for the business and its stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with I&T within the company to ensure the hardware is available for projects and working properly
• Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor the progress of initiatives
• Collaborate and understand the needs of the business and provide application solutions and recommendations to deliver on business expectations
• Supporting project teams to keep deliverables on target and on time

Governance and Compliance

• Propose and establish a framework for necessary contributions from various departments

• Provide detailed technical specifications for proposed solutions
• Document and monitor requirements needed to implement required enhancements/updates

• Account for possible project challenges on constraints, including risks, time, resources, and scope

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

EXPERIENCE

• At least 8 years of experience in one or multiple technology areas
• Demonstrated experience working as a Solution Architect
• Project management and leadership skills are essential
• Experience developing I&T and infrastructure
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
• Experience in software engineering and design architecture
• Advanced knowledge of business analysis techniques and processes
• Professional experience working with and analysing computer hardware and software

• Check sums are right on plan drawings and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications

• At least one to two year’s tailings deposition experience working in a mining / tailings environment or construction environment.
