    General Worker (Gauteng)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform housekeeping duties on site
    • Attend pre-shift and risk assessment meetings
    • Ensure that the tools are kept in a safe working condition
    • Report unsafe conditions and behavior
    • Liaise with management on work related matters
    • Ensure compliance to relevant health and safety rules and regulations as well as operational procedures

    Marketing & Communications Specialist (Gauteng)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Execution of Marketing and Communication Strategy

    • Responsible for aligning Marketing and Communications initiatives with strategic objectives
    • Measure the strategic impact of such.
    • Ensure our global brand integrity across the mining industry
    • Serve as the expert in digital marketing tactics and strategy within the business
    • Suggest new campaign ideas, targeting, and optimisation efforts to achieve business goals

    Manage Communication

    • Monitor and report on social media presence in the market

    General Administration

    Project Management

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    I&T Solutions Architect (Gauteng)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Technical

    • Analyse current technologies used within Fraser Alexander and determine ways to improve
    • Evaluation and recommendation of technology in support of the business goals and optimise the delivery capability
    • Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution
    • Ensure that introduction of new technologies will not pose any threats to the technology ecosystem
    • Creates architectural designs to guide and contextualise solution development across products, services, projects, and systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information)
    • Assessment and proof of concept of new and emerging hardware and software technologies and products based on the organisation's needs and overall strategy
    • Provide specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered
    • Act as a technical subject matter expert for the business and its stakeholders

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Work closely with I&T within the company to ensure the hardware is available for projects and working properly
    • Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor the progress of initiatives
    • Collaborate and understand the needs of the business and provide application solutions and recommendations to deliver on business expectations
    • Supporting project teams to keep deliverables on target and on time

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • BSc degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least 8 years of experience in one or multiple technology areas
    • Demonstrated experience working as a Solution Architect
    • Project management and leadership skills are essential
    • Experience developing I&T and infrastructure
    • Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
    • Experience in software engineering and design architecture
    • Advanced knowledge of business analysis techniques and processes
    • Professional experience working with and analysing computer hardware and software

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Operate the Tailings dam
    • Ensure that equipment is stored properly.
    • Ensure that there is enough stock quantities.
    • Ensure that the equipment is used correctly.
    • Do site specific induction
    • Supervise the teams
    • Slurry densities and Freeboard
    • Deposition – location, duration
    • Daywall width (where appropriate)
    • Manage Risks
    • Make employees aware of hazards and risks.
    • Control existing risk factors.
    • Report and record incidents.

    • Grade 12 Certificate / or equivalent
    • Supervisory Course

    Operations Supervisor (Phalaborwa)

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Business / Functional Management

    • Execute operational and technical duties in line with organizational directives, as provided
    • Support implementation of business initiatives as directed

    • Ensure all paperwork and posters are displayed on the site office wall and kept up to date
    • Ensure all reported near misses are recorded following procedure and submitted weekly

    Technical Management

    • Responsible for adherence to technical standards and work methods, for section, in accordance with organizational and client requirements, policies, procedures and legislation

    SHEQ Management

    • Check sums are right on plan drawings and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications
    • Record the condition of plant arriving on site on a form with photographs
    • People Management
    • Lead, and manage team
    • Support, guide and coach team
    • Culture and Climate
    • Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement for the duration of the project
    • Align with client culture requirements as directed by management

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Degree / or Btech in Civil Engineering

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least one to two year’s tailings deposition experience working in a mining / tailings environment or construction environment.
