    Junior Business Analyst

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Sales Analysis & Reporting:

    • Implement sales report for each campus and ensure consistency throughout each of them for reporting purposes.
    • Compile and maintain current sales report and sales funnel reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis for year-on-year reference, reporting, and audit.
    • Identify sales report that require greater efficiencies and build them accordingly.
    • Implement sales dashboards based on KPI’s and metrics to assess campus and national performance against targets.
    • Assist Senior Sales Analyst with detailed insight into conversation rates, priority splits, individual performance, and campus performance.
    • Collaborate with sales management team to improve overall analysis and reporting.
    • Work with campuses to outline sales performance against year-on-year and target year-to-date data with a detailed breakdown across various areas.
    • Work with Senior Sales Analyst to conduct an annual competitor analysis to benchmark the business against the market from a quantitative and qualitative standpoint.
    • Create ad-hoc sales reporting templates and dashboards as and when required.

    Database Management:

    • Work with campuses to maintain campus database on SIS and excel-based files, ensuring accurate, timeous and thorough practices in capturing data fields on data platforms used. 
    • Use data management techniques to ensure accurate version management and minimal data loss.
    • Leverage Power Query and ETL methodology to manage data in a manner that is efficient and effective for campus and national use.

    Training & Support:

    • Provide campuses and sales staff with training and support on a variety of reports and tools.
    • Host regular training sessions with marketing assistants and campus sales managers to provide refreshers on best practices in terms of reporting.
    • Assist new joiners within the sales team with report training and onboarding. In addition, provide them with a holistic view of all essential reports whereby they are directly involved.
    • Follow a training script with new marketing assistants in terms of data capturing and reporting.
    • Run comprehensive training on data integrity so all sales staff understand the process.

     Data Integrity & Security:

    • Monitor accuracy of data across a variety of sales reports and address areas of concern.
    • Run and manage quarterly data integrity audits with each campus to ensure they remain aligned to best practices and benchmarks.
    • Engage on a weekly basis with campuses to understand their challenges around data integrity with a specific focus on CRM challenges and its impact on reporting.
    • Maintain data quality standards based on pre-determined criteria set out by management.
    • Identify and investigate data quality issues with campuses and provide workable solutions to resolve it.
    • Use validation tools that can automate data integrity processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
    • Maintain records on the company’s secure platform to remain compliant with POPIA.
    • Ensure that all sensitive data contained in reports and files are encrypted and password protected in line with AdvTech IT policies.

    Technical Skills & Proficiencies:

    • Basic / intermediate understanding of Microsoft VBA – i.e. automation scripts and macros.
    • Foundational understanding of building relational data models to provide in-depth analytical insight.
    • Basic / intermediate understanding of Power Query – i.e. transforming and structuring large datasets with DAX.
    • Basic / intermediate understanding of PowerBI – i.e. data visualizations.
    • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

    Minimum Qualification Required:

    • Postgraduate Degree at NQF 8 with a focus on Business, Commerce, Marketing, Information Systems, or Computer Science(advantageous).
    • Professional Courses in the field of data analysis, business analysis, and information systems.(advantageous)

    ICT Support- Sandton

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Desktop Support:

    • Answers, evaluates and prioritises logged requests for assistance from users requiring assistance with catalogue of services requests
    • Logs and tracks calls using the incident and problem management database provided through the service desk
    • Handles problem recognition (catalogue of services), isolation, resolution and follows on routine user incidents, and refers the undefined tasks (those not on the catalogue of services) to the campus Senior Support for resolution and further definition.
    • Provide IT support to Staff, Students and Lecturers. 
    • Software and Hardware Installations and Support for Software and Hardware Installations
    • Installs desktop and laptop computers for use on campus with the relevant authorised software and completes the relevant documentation
    • Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives 
    • Assists with set up and support for venues on campus or for training use

    Conducts regular and periodic testing of ICT testing equipment in campus venues to ensure operability, including but not limited to:

    •  PCs
    • Audio visual equipment
    • Access point
    • Phones
    • Office automatic equipment
    • and fixes any issues identified  

    Information Technology Administrative Functions

    • Liaises with service provides on information technology equipment and maintenance thereof
    • Administers and maintains the ICT asset register and equipment tracker and completes necessary finance documents e.g. disposals
    • Administers and maintains software, as per the agreed software list
    • Maintains the information technology storeroom, server room and office by keeping it neat and tidy and free of any health and safety risks
    • Trains and orientates staff on the use of hardware and software
    • Complies with the requirements of The Protection of the Personal Information (POPIA) legislation

    Lecturer: School Of Education

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Lecturing:

    • Lecture on Education programmes (must lecture on an IIE qualification) across various modes of delivery where relevant.
    • Marking of assessments and feedback to students in subjects lectured.
    • May be required to internally moderate assessments (scripts) that fall within their subject fields, where necessary across IIE sites of delivery.

    Lecturer Development and Support

    • Assist in lecturer development and support processes and procedures. This may include conducting peer reviews, facilitating workshops and one-on-one consultations.

    Student Development & Support

    • Championing/leading and managing academic development and support for a specific programme and its students.
    • Tracking student success and implementing support interventions where required. 

    Research & Scholarship:

    • The incumbent is required to promote a culture of scholarship within their practice, discipline and campus/team and is also required to contribute towards IIE Varsity College achieving its annual research output targets.

    Lecturers: School Of Law (Independent Contractors)

    Key Performance Areas: 

    • Lecture/practicum preparation, delivery and all related teaching and assessment activities across the required modes of delivery.
    • Marking of assessments providing timeous and constructive feedback to students.

    Minimum Qualification Requirements:

    • LL.B and LL.M.
    • Candidate must be an admitted attorney or advocate. 

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • At least 2 years’ teaching experience gained from similar higher education role at a recognised tertiary institution.
    • Minimum 5 years of related industry experience. 

     Other Job Requirements:

    • Demonstrated capability to lecture, conduct tutorials and seminars at tertiary level in an effective manner in the qualification(s) stipulated at the highest academic level.

    Credit Controller

    Duties and Responsibilities:

      Administration/Collections/Handovers:   

    • Assist with all campus administrative related activities: (Bank Statements/ Credits/Journals/ Refunds/Billing/Debit Orders/Banking/Bursaries/Cancellations/Transfers/Payment Plans).
    • Processing adjustments on D365.
    • Attend to additional ad-hoc administrative duties as and when required.
    • Attend to queries escalated by the centralised debtors department.
    • Accurately processing of weekly banking from the cash office (Credit/Debit).
    • Investigation of credit balances.
    • Assist with processing of applications for when students.
    • Collections on debtor's accounts as and when required.
    • Negotiate and maintain payment arrangements and document Acknowledgement of Debt (sign off by Head: Finance/Debtors manager). 
    • Ensure required call output target is achieved (20-30 Quality calls daily). 
    • Place hold on STASY (debtors portal) when accounts are in arrears.
    • Informs students in person that they have been suspended from attending classes.
    • Compilation of contracts/statements/Account payer's documentation for handed over files to be sent to pre-legal.
    • Changing of account status to pre-legal on STASY (debtor's portal).
    • Attend to queries relating to pre-legal files.

    Bank Statements:

    • Accurate processing of daily bank statements.
    • Ensure all debit orders returned unpaid from the bank are dealt with immediately. Re-activation of failed debit orders.
    • Accurate processing of unallocated payments.
    • Processing of debit orders on the Absa banking system (1st/15th/25th) of each month.
    • Distribution of payment batches.
    • Accurate processing of legal payments on pre-legal accounts (active/bad debt write off's).
    • Identifying payments for other campuses and escalating to Head: Finance to process transfer.
    • Accurate processing of card payments. 

    Customer Service:

    • Communicates with internal departments as and when required in order to maintain an accurate position on students accounts.
    • Attend to walk in account payers/finance queries.
    • Build sustainable relationships and trust with students/account payers through open and interactive communication.
    • Handle account payers complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives.
    • Assist with Fresh Desk (VC Assist) as and when required to resolve student/payer queries.
    • Resolving queries logged by central team via FQMS (Finance management system).

    Quality Management & Reporting:

    • Senior Credit Controller who in turn will collate and send to Head: Finance and Debtors Manager. This could be weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.
    • Quality of work to be reviewed by Senior Credit Controller/Head: Finance (Meeting deadlines, communication (inbound/outbound), allocations, processing of credits, notes on debtors portal, holds on accounts, follows Standard Operating Procedure).
    • Maintenance of working file on a daily basis. All fields must be completed accurately in-order for any user to convert into reports.
    • Manage query resolutions received from internal and external stakeholders.

    Competencies Required:

    • Knowledge of Full Function Credit Control
    • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable/Debit Orders/Bank Statements.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external departments.
    • Good interpersonal skills/Customer Service driven.
    • Analytical and Problem solving skills.
    • Sound numerical skills.
    • Best suited to a friendly, organised person who works accurately and is able to handle pressure.
    • Honest, trustworthy and ethical.
    • Time management skills.
    • Ability to produce basic reports using Microsoft Office.

    Minimum Education Requirements:

    • Minimum of Matric, Credit management/Book keeping/Financial qualification advantageous

    Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years credit control experience
