    District Manager: Montana

    Description

    Application Quality Tester

    Description

    Test Planning and system support

    • Review business requirements and formulate test plans
    • Log bugs on Defect tracking tool (TFS) realised during testing and communicate for fixing by Business, BA and Developers
    • Assist with ICT helpdesk support calls, when needed
    • Give regular feedback to ICT helpdesk regarding progress of call logged
    • Inform users when system acceptance testing has been completed and share test results
    • Prepare testing status report for Manager on weekly basis 

    Test Analysis and design

    • Test system based on test cases developed
    • Responsible to implement and manage quality controls and test governance.
    • Conduct regression testing for system where changes with a financial or reputational impact are developed

    • Update Web Systems manual.
    • Conduct training on Web Funeral Systems for Funeral Branches and Polar System for Brokers and Reps.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

    • B.Sc or B.Com degree with Computer Science / Information Technology

    EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

    • Minimum 7 years’ experience
    • Experience in application quality testing
    • SQL Server Reporting Services
    • HTML5 / mobile technologies
    • Silverlight
    • Workflow/Business Process
    • Microsoft.Net Frameworks
    • Web technologies (HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript , JQuery, Bootstrap, Responsive design.
    • Microsoft Web stack(MVC , C#, VB.net, razor , IIS , ASP.net, WCF/Web services, Web API)
    • Experience in applying test driven development and software engineering best practices.
    • Mobile applications development (iOS, Mono, Android) would be advantageous

    Medical Underwriter

    Description

    Key Performance Areas:

    Receive and rectify error reports

    • Receive and rectify administrative and medical error reports on a daily basis
    • Ensure that the correct ASSISA entries are placed on files
    • Update the medical/administrative information

    Underwrite all new and diarised applications

    • Use medical reports and questionnaires according to underwriting
    • Ensure that the medical information received is correct and updated before outstanding documents can be requested
    • Request outstanding medical/administration information via fax or printed letters from branches
    • Re-instate withdrawn policies and attend to medical problems to ASSISA

    Record corrections to the policies as received

    • Ensure that the information is corrected according to ASSISA and medical indicator
    • Decline/accept benefits on the system where applicable
    • Update commencement date according to method of payment
    • Ensure that existing and new data received are updated correctly

    Effectively handle LOA matters

    • Ensure that the rules as per ASSISA circulars are adhered to
    • Update ASSISA codes on the system
    • Ensure that existing and new electronically received data are updated correctly

    Update statistics and assist with office duties

    • Update statistics on a daily/monthly basis
    • Compile a report for verifiers and validators who qualifies for 8 hours
    • Handle all telephonic queries from clients and area offices regarding outstanding information and medical account
    • Assist senior clerks, validators and dispatch clerks
    • Assist on polar system

    Senior Clerk: Client Service Centre Cape Town

    Description

    The above-mentioned position exists at the Client Services Centre in Cape Town and will report to the Departmental Head: Client Services (Cape Town). The incumbent will be responsible for delivery of excellent customer services to our policy holders and to ensure that work is performed efficiently, effectively and accurately in order to process daily requests within the allocated time.

    RESPONSIBILITIES  INCLUDE:

    • General reception duties to welcome clients
    • Receive and assist walk-in clients with inquiries in line with the client services policy and procedure and/or refer to the relevant department.
    • Utilize resources and obtain necessary knowledge and skills to handle and complete enquiries
    • Communicate entire processes and or delays and system problems to waiting clients
