    Sales Manager - JHB

    Key responsibilities:

    Sales performance

    Debtors Clerk - JHB

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Create new accounts and capture data on the debtors’ system.
    • Verify and control credit applications for new clients as outlined in the credit rules and policies.
    • Prepare credit applications for approval by the Supervisor or Credit Manager.
    • Conduct Credit Bureau inquiries.
    • Follow up and report daily on outstanding documentation required from relevant departments (e.g. customer application forms.)
    • Prepare and capture journals and transactions.
    • Reconcile payments and deposits with bank statements daily, capture bank deposits and receipts.
    • Handle queries with the various banking institutions.
    • Notify superior of any suspicious or potentially fraudulent payments.

    Digital Sales Strategist - CPT

    Main purpose of the role

    Analyse technology, revenue, economic, digital, advertising and media landscape trends to identify revenue growth opportunities for the Media24 News portfolio.  The Digital Sales Strategist is responsible for using these trends to build and optimize innovative and strategic campaigns for clients using Media24’s digital products and other opportunities within the Media24 portfolio.

    This position will be based in Capetown and is an in office position.

     

    Key responsibilities:

     

    • Provide strategic direction and leadership for Adspace24’s digital revenue objectives and advertising implementation team;
    • Lead innovation for the rest of the team, enabling constant improvement in performance and hence enabling continuous achievement of sales targets as well as the business’s overall targets.
    • Analyse data sets from existent campaigns to influence strategies for upcoming campaigns in addition to considering performance metrics and behavioral targeting, which guarantees continual improvement in the advertising operations department, in turn leading to the achievement of sales objectives and the achievement of the business’s overall targets
    • Continuous analysis of M24 News portfolio and developing of strategic interventions where required;
    • Research and analyse trends and market/business/industry intelligence in order to identify opportunities for revenue growth;
    • Analyse major-client financial results to inform client-centric sales strategies;
    • Work closely with media strategists and sales managers to identify solutions for clients;
    • Management of post-sale implementation function in order to ensure campaign / client KPI’s are met;
    • Utilise the information gained from business units to identify potential opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell to existing and new clients;

    Local Titles Strategist - Adspace24

    Main purpose of the role

    Analyse the regional media landscape trends to identify revenue growth opportunities for the Media24 local titles portfolio.  The  strategist is responsible for using trends to build and optimize innovative advertising campaigns for clients across all Media24’s local title brands.

    This position will be based in Cape Town and office based.

    • To be a conduit between the Western Cape, Eastern Cape and Central regions, Adspace24 KAM’s and clients

    Accounts Clerk

    Main purpose of the role:
    Perform routine clerical and financial administrative tasks to ensure sound and accurate
    financial procedures.

    Requirements:

    Main Purpose of the Job

    Netwerk24 is looking for an excellent general reporter to report from Johannesburg. The reporter must be able to source, investigate and report. The journalist should have an existing and extensive contact network. The suitable candidate will have the ability to get the story behind the story and gather unique information that is not available elsewhere.     Production Manager - CPT

    What the job entails:

    • Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Manage and maintain post-production and administrative processes to completion including, but not limited to the trafficking of campaign reports, updating campaign inventory document, competition administration, A-Z indexing, TASTE mailbox management as well as assisting multimedia designer with the archiving of content.
    • Manage and maintain excellent relationships with freelancers, suppliers, and outsourced service providers, ensuring all external service providers supporting the team are suitably qualified, competent, working closely alongside suppliers and internal teams from initial concept, briefing and pre-production through to final execution to ensure alignment to project goals and deliverables.
    • Receive briefs, co-ordinate meetings and manage activities of internal resources accordingly, and support the team aligned to project goals and deliverables;
    • Direct and monitor workflow & communication between teams on a daily basis, implementing timely corrective actions to keep projects on track and assisting teams where necessary to ensure project completion.
    • Escalate resource needs and timeline issues with GOM promptly.
    • Keep track of commercial campaigns daily to ensure paid content goes up timeously and client expectations are met.
    • Assist team members where required on all platforms eg basketing of recipes, image research, making of PDFs for freelance contributors.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as any industry regulations and standards throughout project execution.
    • Maintain clear and concise communication throughout each project, including project briefs and progress reports, and ensure all relevant files are correctly saved and archived for audit purposes.


    What you should have:

    • Bachelor's degree in project management or a related qualification
    • At least 2 years proven experience as a production and or project manager, preferably in an agency environment
    • A thorough understanding of media content production across multiple platforms (print, digital and video)
    • A proven track record of planning and managing integrated, content-driven campaigns and/or projects.
    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
    • A high proficiency in relevant software and applications, including but not limited to MS Office and Asana with basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Indesign and CHASE an advantage
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
