    7 ton Forklift Driver - Port Shepstone

    Duties:

    • Move merchandize from one place to another using the forklift.
    • Load, unload, move, and pack materials.
    • Place the forklift and other lifting tools over, under, or around loaded boxes, pallets, or skids
    • Ensure that materials loaded to be transported are secure
    • Weigh merchandize and record weight or other production data on labels or tags
    • Observe and comply with quality, environment, health, and safety procedures
    • Personally check all quality descriptions of the merchandize to be moved
    • Ensure that the products are properly stacked
    • Carry out routine checks on the forklift and other devices
    • Report to the warehouse manager or supervisor

    Manager Outbound and Logistics - Durban

    Requirements:

    A Bachelor Degree focused on Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management (B. Com); a post graduate qualification in Supply Chain and Logistics will be an advantage.

    • At least 5 - 10 years related work experience in a FMCG warehouse environment.

    • Monitor and control all pre-numbered books/documentation in the branch. 

    Health and Safety 

    • Report non adherence to OSH Act to health and safety rep and senior management 
    • Implement health and safety policies and procedures within the branch 
    • Ensure safety of all company assets 
    • Minimise threat to customers, staff and stock. 
    • Manage Merchandise and Housekeeping 
    • Implement and maintain Company merchandising principles and policies 
    • Monitor merchandise display plans, and strategies for grouping, displaying and presenting merchandise in retail environment. 
    • Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained at all times 
    • Manage stock storage conditions and procedures. 
    • Ensure that store is kept neat and tidy at all times 
    • Plan and manage store advertising and promotion 
    • Visual displays are maintained as per promotion strategy 
    • Identify slow sellers and take action to reduce prices or set promotion where necessary 

    Manage Stock Take 

    • Run all pre stock take reports 
    • Reports include – stock holding report, ST outstanding stock transaction report, ST outstanding stock journal report, ST stock holding exception report 
    • Process/complete all outstanding documentation. 
    • Prepare store for stock take. 
    • Count stock and record quantities onto scanner. 

     Accountability and Responsibility 

    • Be accountable and take responsibility for all activities, assets and overall performance of the branch
    • Ensure that staff are held accountable for their actions or lack thereof 

    General

    • Manage and secure all company assets

    Senior Buyer - Pinetown

    Minimum Requirements

    •  Certificate in Procurement Management / Supply Chain
    •  Minimum 4 years in FMCG buying preferably in packaging.
    •  Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Buying role
    •  Experience in the FMCG / Food Manufacturing industry
    •  Experienced in the procurement of raw and packaging materials
    •  Previous technical procurement experience is preferred

    • Review historical and competitive costs to identify cost savings opportunities and variances.
