    Shipping and Logistics Administrator

    Qualifications    

    • Matric or Equivalent
    • Tertiary qualification or currently studying towards one will be advantageous

    Experience    

    • At least 3 years’ experience in logistics
    • Experience of imports and exports would be advantageous.
    • Management of documentation for customs purposes.
    • Advanced level of Microsoft Office

    Duties    

    • Provide logistical support to the Customer Sales Centre by coordinating and facilitating customer deliveries via third party transporters.
    • Collect all transport PODs and ensure electronic copies are stored in a cloud based central file depositary.
    • Manage and be responsible for all TMS (Transport Manage System) functions with D365Assess daily distribution requirements, develop an optimized distribution plan, and submit it to Steinweg for route planning and load optimization.
    • Compile and manage daily transport tracking reports as well as logistics related documentation and communications.
    • Provide procurement with spot transport costs as and when required
    • Validate in liaison with SHEQ department. That transporters meet all relevant Hazchem and ISO requirements
    • Identify new transport providers and support procurement in awarding of transport contracts
    • Coordinate BIVAC inspections & administrative management thereof
    • Perform additional tasks relevant to the job function.
    • Maintain healthy relationships with logistics service providers

    Customer Service Representative

    Overview

    Qualifications    

    • A tertiary qualification in Chemistry and/or Sales and/or Marketing (Diploma/Degree)
    • Computer literacy 

    Experience    

    • At least 5-10 years’ experience in a similar customer service environment
    • Maintaining relationship with customer (sales experience in managing customer relationship)
    • Experience of D365 ERP System specifically

    Duties    
    Quality processed orders

    • Accept all orders and ensure that they are processed timeously.
    • Effectively implement price increases.
    • Ensure profit margins are maintained. 

    Informed clients and relevant internal stakeholders

    • Gain local market intelligence.
    • Keep customers informed and updated on the status of their orders.

    Controlled/monitored stock

    • Monitor stocks and inform Planner and Procurement departments of potential stock shortages
    • Manage sample stock.

    Assistant Accountant

    Overview    

    • To process financial information and assist with preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organisation. Duties include AR, AP, Inventory, Admin and Ad-Hoc duties.

    Qualifications    

    • National Diploma in Accounting or Equivalent
    • Code B Drivers Licence

    Finance

    • Preparing and analysing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports in order to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards).

    • Accurately assigning entries to the proper accounts to prepare and submit monthly reports.
    • AP/AR Processing as needed by Operations for new D365 system.
    • Balance sheet Reconciliation of certain GL Accounts

    • Preparing forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel, and direct their work activities
    • Surveying operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, and maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
    • Focal point for Vendor on Boarding in Namibia

    Admin

    • Leave processing
    • Payment batch processing
    • Visa applications and focal point for Fleet cards in country
    • New Employees assist with On Boarding process

    Audit Support

    • Prepare for and co-ordinate the internal and external audits to ensure compliance to corporate governance and legislation.
    • Established/maintained relevant and constructive internal and external stakeholder relations
    • Provide support, education and training to staff within the finance team and other stakeholders.
    • Effective relationships in the company and with relevant external stakeholders to deliver on the mandate of the role
