    Artisan: Boilermaker - Mthatha

    Job Description    

    • Maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site.
    • Technical support / Trouble shooting
    • Technical research

    • Plant and system upgrades / Project management
    • Audits (Safety and stock control)

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Relevant Trade qualification
    • Registered Artisan (Dept. of Labour) (Red Seal)

    Experience Requirements    

    • 3 years’ work experience in relevant trade e.g. Electrician, Millwright or Boilermaker

    Buyer: Senior - Waterfall

    Job Description    

    • Actively negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring optimal collaboration, reliability, and value delivery.
    • Foster continuous improvement of supplier performance through ongoing management and monitoring in line with agreed SLA terms.
    • Ensure high-quality raw materials/packaging materials by collaborating with Research and Development and Packaging Development to ensure correct specifications and sourcing in line with agreed requirements.
    • Solicit competitive tenders, lead negotiations for price increases using open book costing methodologies and ensure favorable terms.
    • Effectively execute projects by fostering and maintaining good cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, attending cross-functional meetings.
    • Adhere to procurement and relevant policies, ensure alignment with BBBEE goals and regulatory standards, and adhere to all Food Safety requirements.
    • Support healthy working capital by negotiating sustainable minimum order quantities and pricing, achieving cost savings, and optimising financial resources.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Com degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Cost Accounting (essential)

    Experience Requirements    

    • 5-7 years of experience as an FMCG Senior Buyer
    • 5-7 years of experience in supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
    • 5+ years of analytical experience, preferably in the FMCG sector
    • 1-2 years of product development project experience (desirable)

    Key Outputs    

    Knowledge:

    • Cost Management Modelling Principles (Intermediate)
    • Buffer Management principles and procedures (Intermediate)
    • Supplier performance and contract management principles (Intermediate)
    • Inventory management principles and procedures (Intermediate)

    Artisan Assistant - East London

    Job Description    

    To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site.

    • Are you a target driven individual with high attention to detail and accuracy?
    • Do you enjoy working in a highly pressurised environment which operates 24/7/365 days a year?
    • Do you have 1-2 years’ experience as an artisan assistant?

    Qualification Requirements    

    Matric or equivalent

    • Any technical certification or skill will be advantageous.
    • The willingness to further your studies to ultimately meet the requirements of the position is essential.

    Experience Requirements    

    • Required to work rotational shifts.
    • Required to work outside of normal working hours (after hours and over time)
    • 1-2 years' experience as an artisan assistant.
