    Financial Controller (treasury & projects): Intern

    Who are we?

    Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sanlam Life Limited) is one of the top financial services providers in the South African entry-level and emerging middle market.     What will you do?

    • Under general supervision, performs a limited variety of clerical duties for functional groups involving compiling and arranging data, making standard computations, processing and coding documents and maintaining records and files. Routines are generally prescribed and supervision is readily available.

    Qualification And Experience

    • Grade 12 with 1 to 2 years related experience.

    Compliance Intern

    What will you do?

    Human Resources Assistant: MiWayLife

    What will you do?

    Support the HR Business Partner, provide line management and staff with advice, assistance and administrative support concerning Human Resources disciplines, in line with internal policies and procedures.

    What will make you successful in this role?
    Human Resources Administration Support And Coordination With Regard To

    • Recruitment, selection and induction processes
    • Assist in delivery of comprehensive recruitment processes for all recruitment
    • Liaising with Recruitment agencies for sourcing potential candidates
    • Support Business Partner on the administrative aspects of the process.
    • Assist in the delivery and execution of competitive pipeline recruitment programmes
    • Advertise all open vacancies and schedule interviews for shortlisted applicants
    • Arrange orientation and induction for new comers.
    • Prepare and send out regret letters to unsuccessful candidates.
    • Responsible for onboarding and off boarding of employees
    • Complete background and risk checks for successful applicants
    • Payroll changes/ updates – liaising with head office to ensure that staff member’ profiles are updated where necessary.
    • Assist with co-ordination of HR related business projects, training, workshops, employee induction, employee wellness initiatives, OD interventions, medical aid sessions etc.
    • Handling client enquiries relating to HR processes, policies and systems
    • Monthly HR reports for relevant business units i.e. Headcount, Appointments, Terminations and Exits reports
    • Diary management and travel arrangements
    • General office management:
    • Ad hoc support

    Qualification & Experience

    • Human Resources related qualification
    • 3-5 years HR administration experience
    • A good understanding and knowledge of HR related processes and systems
    • Experience in SAP will be advantageous
    • Computer literate in MS office i.e. word, excel and power point
