Consumer Research. Lead ad-hoc consumer insights research projects providing input into the design, management of agencies and key stakeholders autonomously, input into presentations to extract insight to leverage within the business, ensuring that recommendations from the research are implemented.
Brand performance evaluation/ Post evaluation of marketing activities. Monitors brand equity and activities on a quarterly basis. Presenting back to the brand and commercial team with recommendations to ensure we maintain and build our brands.
Consumer Analysis. Preparation and delivery of integrated reports drawing all pieces of information from multiple sources together and connecting the dots to form coherent and insightful reports
Foundational Framing Projects. Support the roll-out of Demand Spaces Segmentation to entrench within the business. Leading projects for opportunities identified for the category. In addition, support relevant projects to understand consumer groups in SA/SSA.
Trends – Identify and drive knowledge of latest consumer and market trends with the broader commercial team

Responsibility for ensuring we maximise ROI from continuous insights spend (roughly 0,5 M USD)

Key skills / Requirements
Relevant Tertiary Qualification with a strong emphasis on commercial subjects (with review of key subject marks like statistics, economic and finance)
3-5 years functional experience
Passionate, self-motivated, willing to learn and develop.
An eye for detail and highly numerate with very strong analytical thinking with proven ability to spot trends, synthesize and integrate learning from multiple sources and see the connections in data, trends, events etc to generate insights
Lead research projects from brief to final debrief
Represent insights in cross-functional team on Product, Market and Process Innovation
Ability to combine data, judgment, and experience to make effective decisions in complex situations and when there is a lot of uncertainty or ambiguity.

Collaborate with Statistical forecasting SSC team to develop these forecasts.
Understanding and verification of advanced statistical modelling changes to the baseline, as proposed by SSC Statistical forecasting
Manage the forecast enrichment process (Promotions and NPD’s) and align volumes with Sales & Marketing
Analyze relationship between promotional activities, new products introductions and seasonal impact on product demand to achieve accurate forecast.
Track all promo activities and their effectiveness related to volumes & timing accuracy
Perform demand and supply control: Ensure that unconstrained demand forecast is aligned with supply ability – and in case of gap to coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders/client
Qualifications/Requirements

Job Description
Operates a section of a process plant by monitoring and controlling gauges and instruments within prescribed limits. Maintains log sheets and observes and reports changes in utilities and raw materials. May work continuous shifts.
Key Responsibility
Prepare downstream equipment for production
Operate equipment according to manual (OM -Operator Manual)
Perform quality tests as described in TetraPak manuals or PFGB procedures and work instructions i.e. perform pack checks as per procedure SIG OM
Verify correctness of packaging requirements with regards to expiry dates, stickers bar codes and amounts where applicable, according to start up document and check sheet
Complete all records related to packaging
Measure and record all packaging material and other line losses
Perform daily and weekly care with inspections as prescribed by TetraPak and SIG
Assist technician during services of equipment and other repairs or maintenance
Assist in training potential operators
Assist Operators where required to ensure that equipment is correctly operated
Adhere to safety standards and maintain ongoing neat and clean working environment
Keep floors and conveyors clean and tidy
Control water usage and packaging material losses
Perform ad hoc tasks
Record batch numbers for packaging materials for traceability purposes
Operate downstream equipment including conveyor line, helix, capper, CBP, shrink tunnel applicator, multi shrink, case bar coder and date coder
