    Analyst Developer (Cape Town or Johannesburg)

    Purpose Statement

    • Responsible for the writing and coding of individual programs for Capitec Bank applications according to specifications.

    Experience

    •    7 years’ proven software development

    Essential experience in the following development technologies is required:

    • Full Stack Web Development

    • Modern JavaScript, CSS & HTML

    • Web Components

    • NodeJS

    Agent: Issuing (Card) Disputes

    Purpose Statement

    • To investigate various types of card transaction disputes, using internal and external resources. This includes telephonic conversations with our cardholder and external parties, after which feedback is provided on the outcome of the dispute.

    • To apply Card Associations Chargeback rules to support our cardholders

    • To have the understanding and or knowledge, and ability to apply Card Scheme Payment rules

    • To provide excellent client services to the cardholder network by keeping the client informed during the dispute process

    • To minimize risk and financial losses for both our cardholder and the bank

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 1-2 years experience in a Card and/or Risk Mitigation role

    Ideal:

    • 1 -2 years experience in Chargeback in a banking or retail environment

    Specialist: Litigation

    Purpose Statement

    • To initiate, monitor and control suitable legal processes to ensure the optimal realisation of various collateral types held across all product offerings in respect of the relevant non-performing loan portfolio

    • To provide specialist inputs relating to Legal Collections towards:

      • maximising recoveries and impairment releases

      • minimising recovery costs and impairment raises

      • Financial assessment, negotiation and restructure of distressed debt

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • Admitted attorney / advocate

    • At least 1-year post-admission experience in civil and/or commercial litigation practice,

    Ideal:

    • 2+ years post-admission experience in civil and/or commercial litigation practice, comprising of 1+ years in a Collections and Recoveries space.

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • A relevant post graduate degree in Law or Commerce
