    Risk Advisory – Data Analytics – SAP Data & Analytics Lead Manager

    Job Description
    As an experienced SAP Enterprise Data & Analytics Lead, you will bring your knowledge and expertise to ensure the design, development and implementation of SAP Analytics solutions that meet business requirements.

    Engagement management and team development. You will also be expected to develop high-performing people and teams, leading and supporting them to make an impact that matters and setting the direction to deliver exceptional client service.

    The job role entails the following:

    •        Lead and manage small- and large-scale SAP related BI, Data & Analytics projects.
    •        Play an SME role in the design, management and delivery of the solutions, together with facilitating excellent client liaisons and relationships.
    •        Solve complex integrations, design, data modelling, visualisation and analytics challenges.
    •        Interact with key stakeholders and recommend correct solutions, meeting with industry standards.
    •        Manage, mentor and guide the Deloitte and project team towards successful project delivery.
    •        Keep abreast with the latest SAP developments, approaches, techniques and solutions (Cloud, on-prem and hybrid).

    •          Data Management
    •          Data Engineering (extractions, transformations, loading patterns)
    •          Descriptive analytics (ability to extract insights and trends from data)

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BSC Computer Science, BSC Honours Computer Science, BSC Maths Statistics, BEng (all disciplines), BCom (Informatics preferred) and SAP Certifications. Or if direct entry proven experience in data & analytics and other relevant any qualifications (e.g. Certifications and other certifications in analytics technology platforms and techniques)

     Desired Qualifications     

    • SAP Certifications or Advanced degrees in Data Management, Data Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics and Analytics technology specific certifications.

    Minimum Experience       

    •        Minimum of 5 years’ Data Analytics relevant experience
    •        Managing and executing projects
    •        Managing pilots to realize quick wins
    •        Organization functional work based on how it adds value and where it needs to be performed

     Desired Experience         

    • 6 years related experience
    • Consulting Experience is advantageous

    Risk Advisory - Data Analytics – Data Management Senior Manager

    Job Description
    As a Senior Manager in the Deloitte Analytics practice, you will need to understand the data management trends, and help clients comprehend and manage their data to better deliver information and insights to improve their organisational performance and meet regulatory requirements. You will need to lead teams that help clients maximize the data management initiatives to support their business objectives and improve their business strategy.

    Typical duties will include:

    •        Lead/contribute to preparation of proposals/tenders and presentations
    •        Develop productive, credible and trusting relationships with current and targeted clients at all levels of their organisations
    •        Develop a network of senior-level internal relationships across Deloitte to understand other business unit offerings and market own area
    •        Building high performing teams to deliver on client engagements
    •        Managing delivery of engagements to meet objectives and customer satisfaction
    •        Ensure internal risk and admin processes are adhered to, including managing WIP, billings and cash collections

    •        Practical knowledge of data governance. Ability to assess, provide design input to data governance structures and execute data governance capabilities i.e. policies and processes
    •        Practical knowledge of data quality principles, data profiling and data quality tools. Ability to assess, design data quality approaches and processes
    •        Practical knowledge of master data and reference data
    •        ​Practical knowledge of meta-data concepts, standards, processes and tools. Ability to design meta-data artefacts
    •        Practical knowledge of integration methods, processes and tools. Ability to assess and design and execute data integration processes
    •        Practical knowledge of data privacy
    •        Ability to organize functional work based on how it adds value and where it needs to be performed to position the business/client to gain competitive advantage.
    •        Experience with extracting and processing large amounts of data from systems, managing data and extracting value from data

    •        9+ years of data management, data modelling, data architecture, data governance, master data management, meta data management and wider data analytics experience
    •        Senior Management Experience
    •        Demonstrated experience working across multiple functional projects to understand data usage and implications for data management
    •        Demonstrated ability with assisting businesses in deriving value from data
    •        Previous consulting experience will be advantageous
