    Technical Specialist

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Process Management

    • Manage throughputs for defined IPC processes. (Analyses scheduled expectancies for each defined process.)
    • Provides technical assistance on all equipment and software within the Processing Centre as required.
    • Evaluates job requirements and recommends best methodologies and equipment to be used in order to maximise throughput and accuracy.
    • Provides technical support to clients onsite and telephonically.
    • Ensures maximum uptime of equipment by overseeing scheduled maintenance and servicing processing equipment.
    • Reports on scheduled maintenance and consumable utilisation of processing equipment to the Processing Centre Manager.
    • Assists in evaluating job requirements in order to recommend preferred methodology and equipment to be used
    • Assist sales in presenting IPC processes and software applications.
    • Assist with the setup of equipment and software for new projects.
    • Assist with the setup of new equipment and software implemented in IPC.
    • Knowledge of Networking and software platforms
    • Data analysis and merging.
    • Importing and uploading of data.
    • Must be able to problem solve.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy

    People Management

    • Ensures that staff is trained, skilled and that their expertise is optimally applied.
    • Ensures that the working environment contributes to improve staff morale and increase productivity.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • No supervisory responsibility.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE: 

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • Project Management Diploma or relevant IT Diploma.
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience
    • Minimum 3 years technical experience in a document processing environment.
    • Experience using Microsoft SQL and Access databases will be advantageous.
    • Technical expertise in Data Management will be beneficial in contributing to the improvement of our Image Processing Centre.
    • Problem-solving abilities will be crucial in this role, allowing you to address challenges efficiently and fine tune solutions that will enhance our processes.
    • Must have a valid driver’s licence with your own vehicle.

    Service Consultant - Pinetown

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Ensures that the service offering provided satisfies customers’ needs and identifies leads across their allocated Account Managers Portfolios.
    • Resolve all enquiries or queries escalated to you by your Account Managers within a reasonable timeframe.
    • Ensure that your portfolio is sufficiently serviced to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure that clients’ portfolios data integrity is accurately maintained.
    • Assists with preparing and presenting business proposals to both existing and new potential customers.
    • Maintains close relationships with the Account Managers in order to capitalise on opportunities identified.
    • Ensures effective management of documentation and records as defined within the customer’s document retention strategy by informing customers of past due dates.
    • Deals with, resolves and reports on issues, concerns and complaints as relates to your portfolio or allocated clients.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE: 

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

    • B Degree in Sales/ Business Administration/Customer Relationship /Marketing Management
    • At least 6 years of solid knowledge of Sales, Channel and Consumer Marketing functions, Logistics or Supply Chain
    • Excellent command of the English language
    • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Must pay attention to detail
    • Must be focused on achieving results
    • Must be a team player
    • Must have business acumen and be able to communicate at all levels
    • Must be highly computer literate
    • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills
    • Must have valid driver’s licence with own transport
