    Buildings On the road Assessor

    Job Description

    • As the OUTsurance Claims Assessor (Buildings) you will be responsible for assessing, validating and finalising personal lines and business claims.

    Responsibilities

    • Validate all incidents and claims
    • Meeting with clients, witnesses etc.
    • Finalise all reports and administration (reports, scanning, photographs etc.)
    • Liaise with service providers
    • Make the decision, all administration and telephonic queries arising around that.
    • Handling and resolving all queries and problems from service provider and clients.
    • Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place.
       

    Qualifications

    • Matric is essential
    • Valid Driver’s Licence is essential
    • A degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying is essential.
    • FAIS Accreditation or a FAIS recognized qualification will be highly beneficial

    Experience

    • Construction or building related experience
    • Building/ Construction/ Plumbing or Electrical/Electronic related experience
    • Face to Face Client services experience
    • Investigation/Assessing experience, especially in a short-term insurance industry. Preferably Buildings Assessing experience

    On The Road (OTR) Salvage Assessor

    Job Description

    • As the OUTsurance Salvage Assessor you will be responsible for the following:

    Responsibilities

    As a Salvage Assessor you will:

    • Liaise with internal and external clients with a focus on service delivery
    • Recovering of Stolen vehicles in South Africa and outside the borders of SA
    • Assisting of clients to identify vehicles in the different pounds in South Africa and outside the borders of SA
    • Liaise with the South African police, Metro Police, cross border Police authorities, Interpol and Tracking companies
    • Liaise with the Registration authorities and South African Insurance Crime Bureau
    • Liaise with Outsurance Salvage department
    • Handle all claims admin, including reporting, attaching information, requesting information etc
    • Handle all Upliftment of vehicles in all Police impounds in South Africa and outside the borders of SA
    • Handling of Vehicle data dotting, clearances, Requesting of RPC forms (Request for police clearance) and issuing of SAPVIN numbers.
    • Liaise with service providers including Auction houses
    • Handle and resolve all queries and problems from clients, service providers and the Outsurance / Youi salvage department
    • Payment of claims and invoices to clients and service providers.
    • Conduct all the above to the required performance and quality standards that are in place
    • Attending PVCF (Provincial Vehicle Crime Forums) meetings and Pounds Operations Clean-ups with stakeholders and submit comprehensive reports.
    • All the above to be done in an extremely fast turnaround time in order to get client’s claim sorted and give great/awesome service in turn.

    Qualifications
    Matric

    • A salvage assessing/investigation, assessing related tertiary qualification or practical experience.
    • Valid driver’s licence
    • Customer care service experience, which include administration duties in a previous skillset will be beneficial
    • Claims assessing / investigative background and face to face client experience in a short-term insurance industry will be beneficial
    • Must be willing to travel extensively

    OUTsurance Broker: Face to Face Distribution

    Job Description
    Overview and Purpose of the Role: 

    Our business product offering has grown significantly over the years which has led to the development of the face to face distribution channel. To facilitate this model the positions of OUTsurance Broker (Face to Face) have emerged.

     
    The incumbent of this newly created position will be responsible for growing and developing the business insurance portfolio. 
    The key outputs for this role are as follows: 

    •     New Business sales 
    •     Client service and management 
    •     High level performance 

    The OUTsurance Broker: Face to Face Distribution must align themselves with the OUTsurance culture and values of Awesome Service, Passionate, Honest, Human, Dynamic and Recognition. 

    Responsibilities

    • Build your own insurance portfolio by: 
    • Being able to prospect for new clients through networking, Cold calling and door –door canvasing for new business 
    • Effective communication with both internal stakeholders and clients. 
    • Conduct a comprehensive risk evaluation for the client. 
    • Providing solutions to clients by selling OUTsurance short term products aligned to the needs of the client. 
    • Drafting, tracking and measurement of your personal business plan. 
    • Providing on-going service and support to your individual client base (amendments, renewals, claims etc.). 
    •  Retention of existing business including renewal discussion in line with FAIS 
    • Developing internal/external relationships with clients. 
    •  Continuous building of your client base hence securing future income. 
    • Keeping abreast with the commercial insurance market changes and developments. 
    • Achieving/Exceeding targets consistently 
    • Providing feedback to line management when requested. 
    • Attending all weekly and adhoc team meetings. 
    • Working closely with internal stakeholders that is, underwriting/actuarial, claims as well as surveying. 
    • Adhering to all quality standards and measures in place. 

     
    Qualifications
    Qualification and Experience 
    Essential 

    • Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate 
    •  FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications (depending on Dofa)
    • RE5 (depending on Dofa)
    •  Must have your own reliable transport 
    • Valid code B driver’s license 
    •  2 years insurance external sales experience
