    F&B Supervisor

    Job Purpose

    • To supervise all aspects of the Casino Floor to the required standards within the agreed budgetary limits and parameters, and ensuring guest satisfaction and profit maximization. To adhere to, maintain and monitor Food & Beverage policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    • Matric/Grade 12

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2 Years related experience in a Food & Beverage Service environment required;
    • Computer literacy: MS Office, Micros and Materials Control required;
    • Shift work is an operational requirement.
    • Knowledge and experience in cost controls is required;

    Main Resposibilites

    • Supervise the daily operations of the Casino Floor, by adhering to Food & Beverage policies and procedures;
    • Supervise Casino Floor Staff, i.e. Waitrons, Barmen, Chefs and Stewards;
    • conduct daily hygiene walkabouts, complete the required checklists, enforce the correct cleaning standards, Health & Safety standards and operating equipment;
    • Assist Management in dealing with Customer Complaints;
    • Perform 10 day, 20 day and monthly stock takes with Barmen and Stock Controllers;
    • Monitor and adhere to the “Signing In and Out Control” Procedures for all contract services staff;
    • Submit timesheets to the labour service provider’s office on a daily basis and monitor clock in and clock out transactions on K Log report.

    Cleaner

    Job Purpose

    • Is responsible for the cleaning of all public areas to include entrances, doorways, sidewalks, public restrooms, all staff areas, offices, kitchens, bars and exits.

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12

    • Cleaning experience will be an added advantage

    Main Resposibilites

    • Smiles and is friendly when interacting with guests, co-workers and property employees.
    • Ensure that the area is clean at all times
    • Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures.

    Commis 2 Chef

    Job Purpose

    • Prepares garnishes, produces meals, chops, and cleans, stores and complete mise en place of all food products under supervision of jnr chef de partie or chef de partie.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2 – 3 Years experience in Food Industry
    • Must be able to work under pressure
    • General Knowledge of Food Products

    Main Resposibilites

    • Ensure all mis en plus is completed prior to food service
    • Ensure that proper cooking proper method are adhered to
    • Ensure that workplace is efficient, clean and hygienic
    • Ensure that all equipment being used is washed and cleaned after use
    • Ensure that the refrigerators in the department are always clean and tidy
    • Preparation of menu items to the highest standard
    • Help with the preparation of staff meals and ensure the canteen doesn’t run out of food

    Inspector

    Job Purpose

    • To supervise operational processes, to ensure that direct reports follow appropriate procedures and maintain high standards and to provide excellent customer service through leading by example and motivating staff members.

    Qualifications

    • Matric with pass in Mathematics or accounting

    Minimum Requirements

    • Previous supervisory experience will be an advantage
    • Two years gaming experience preferred
    • Competency on Roulette, Blackjack, Poker, Punto Banco and Baccarat (with 9 months experience on Baccarat and/or Midi Punto Banco)
    • Presentable
    • Good inter-personal skills
    • Good attendance and disciplinary records
    • Operationally required to work in a smoking environment

    Main Resposibilites

    • Opening and closing of gaming tables according to company and gaming board procedures.
    • Table administration, including player tracking, fills and credits, and hourly counts.
    • Guest relations, including recording player’s names, signing for complimentary drinks, handling disputes and assisting guests.
    • Ensure Company and Gaming Board compliance in the way that dealers conduct games and monetary transactions.

    Promotions & Events Manager

    Job Purpose

    •  To effectively plan, manage and execute the Resort promotions and events (including Hotel, Casino and Convention areas) in accordance with the Peermont Group standard. To target relevant markets, deliver superior revenue results within budget, and create an exciting and engaging environment for resort guests.

    Qualifications

    • Grade12
    • Relevant Degree or Diploma

    Minimum Requirements

    • A proven track record in a similar role
    • At least 5 years’ experience in a Marketing management role, preferably in the gaming, hospitality, or entertainment industry
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Be proficient in MS Office 365, including above average computer and presentation skills
    • Ability to interact with people at all levels
    • Innovation and creativity, with attention to detail is a key attribute of this position.
    • Good organisational and administrative skills
    • Be a team player with a can-do attitude
    • Be emotionally mature in working under pressure
    • Be analytical thinker
    • Be prepared to do shift work
    • Operationally required to work in a smoking environment.
    • Will be required to obtain a Gaming Board License from the relevant provincial gaming board

    Main Resposibilites

    Develop and implement casino and hospitality promotions, competitions, and activations for the relevant Peermont Resort. Excellence in promotional execution is a key metric of the role and requires:

    • Identified and sound business objectives
    •  Business Intelligence integration and reporting
    • Involvement from Management and sound marketing principle

    Plan a relevant and financially viable entertainment calendar aimed at relevant target markets with the aim of:

    • Effectively increasing footfall on complex
    • Ensuring effective conversion strategies to increase gaming (this also applies to music concerts, shows, entertainment, family holiday programmes, sporting events, festivals etc.)
    • Implement and manage the Peermont Winners Circle Rewards Programme, including:
    • collateral, awareness, promotional strategies, events and entertainment strategies, local partnerships, customer relationship management and fulfilment.
    • Be involved and champion communication of CSI initiatives and related Public Relations (including social media).

    Sales Executive

    Job Purpose

    • To achieve Peermont’s objectives and Revenue Targets within the hotel market segment commitments and conferencing/events business for all Peermont Hotels and conference centres in the designated portfolio through sourcing, securing and servicing business, new business prospects, as well as from past and current clients.

    Qualifications

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Relevant Sales Qualification required

    Minimum Requirements

    • 3 Years related Sales experience required, preferably in the Hospitality, travel, airline or car rental sector;
    • Existing strong database and relationships with decision makers in the relevant market;
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Computer literacy essential;
    • Own transport and a valid driver’s licence required.

    Main Resposibilites

    • Source Transient business commitments and conferencing/events business for all Peermont Hotels and conference centres in the designated portfolio
    • Responsible for managing specific Key Accounts
    • Source new business through Telesales / Cold Calling within the allocated market segments
    • Negotiate rates and availability in conjunction with the Group Sales Manager where necessary
    • Achieve monthly and combined quarterly targets for the designated portfolio
    • Attend to, follow up on and reply to all enquiries, offers, quotes and confirmations timeously
    • Process Vendor Registration forms, Credit Applications, Negotiated Rate Agreements
    • Conduct regular and updated product knowledge presentations to all stake holders for the Peermont properties to Clients
    • Record and update all contact details, appointments and calls on Sales Database (Salesforce.com) and submit weekly and monthly Sales Reports accordingly
    • Develop and execute a sales plan and associated projects within the required timeframe as allocated by the Group Sales Manager
    • Host and Attend client events and familiarisation trips
    • Exhibit at client workshops and tradeshows
