Key responsibilities

• Design, setup and manage front end optimization rules to improve site performance
• Own & manage CDN configurations & integrate new features as they are released by the vendor
• Work with product teams in driving continuous performance improvements of NMG Digital Channels
• Implement & maintain advanced routing configurations in InstartLogic based on project needs
• Manage caching rules and TTLs setup on CDN    
• Automation of tasks such as reports or analysis performance & CDN metrics
• Design & Configure InstartLogic routing to enable A/B tests working with business teams
• Manage WAF rules and bot protection login in InstartLogic
• Performance analysis to identify bottlenecks & design appropriate optimizations
• Collaborate with operations in finding root cause and reduce MTTR for Performance, scalability related issues

Qualifications,Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 5+ years progressive experience in technology roles in ecommerce / Digital
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in front end optimization & configuring CDNs, WAF from providers such as InstartLogic, Akamai, Amazon etc
• Strong knowledge of front end optimization concepts, Networking, Caching etc
• Strong understanding of HTTP protocol and SSL management
• Experience with AWS stack & related technologies is a plus
• Proficient in scripting language(s) to help automate
• Experience with securing websites from malicious traffic, protection against BOTS, DDoS etc
• Current knowledge monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk or equivalent.
• Highly developed communication and strong presentation skills

JOB DUTIES:

• Developing new interfaces, messages flows using various nodes in IBM Integration Bus (IIB) on various operating systems/platforms (Unix, Windows, Linux).
• Administrating the deployed interfaces and managing execution groups on broker.
• Developing new functionalities on MQ Explorer (MQ) by creating proper message queues and channeling.
• Designing, developing and unit testing IIB message flows using various integration technologies e.g. IIB toolkit, SOAP UI, RFHUtil, Postman etc.
• Managing/ developing DataPower Web service proxies and multi-protocol gateways (MPGW) and handling SSL security profiles being used during certificate exchange.
• Code promotions/versioning to higher environments and deployment in production following change management procedures e.g. HP SM9, Jenkins
• Preparing project related artefacts during various phases of the project e.g. Integration Catalogue, Design documents.
• Participating in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including definition, design, implementation, testing, delivery and support.

Position Purpose
To develop and maintain system software applications based on business system requirements and queries in order to improve and enhance system functionality for the business.

Experience

• 7 to 10 years senior-level experience in Java development, familiarity with open source tools and APIs and deploying/configuring industry-leading application servers (preferably Wildfly/Weblogic)
• 4 to 6 years mid-level experience writing SQL queries, SQL query optimization, writing and executing stored procedures and good database design skills (preferably in Oracle)
• 1 year experience working in a Medical Aid or Managed Healthcare industry is desirable.

Qualifications
3 year degree/diploma in Information Technology.
