Purpose of the position:

Effectively perform a world class delivery service to our customers
Ensure that vehicle is inspected on a daily basis and faults are reported timeously
Adhere to traffic rules and regulations and speed limits
Ensure route adherence at all times
Correct use of the hand held device
Supervise loading and off-loading
Ensure breakages are kept to a minimum
Check that the correct product is off-loaded according to the hand held device checklist or proforma invoice
Check loading of empty containers and bottles and ensure proper documentation/record keeping
Handle all customer complaints professionally and forward complaints to Operations Controller for action if needed
Ensure good customer relations under all circumstances
General administration
Safeguard company property and assets
Good housekeeping of vehicle

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Valid Code 14 driver’s license (EC License)
Valid PDP
Knowledge of delivery routes
Communication and customer skills
Minimum Grade 12 Certificate
A minimum of 3 year’s experience in driving a truck-tractor coupled with a semi-trailer
Willingness to work overtime and public holidays when required
Proficient in the use of the hand held device
Purpose of the Position
To effectively handle the administration and financial function, within the branch and the completion of all reasonable tasks to ensure the operational efficiency of the branch. The successful applicant would also assist and support Distell’s endeavour to create superior customer service.
Key performance areas include, but are not limited to:
Effectively manage the daily administration function within the Distribution Centre
Assist and support managers with Purchase requisitions, goods receipt process, purchase orders and all procurement related admin
Ensure the correct issuing and management of Petty cash
Ensure that the ISO 9001:2015 documentation is maintained and applied correctly
Responsible for the co-ordination od the ISO audits and changes to documentation
Involvement in preparation of budgets and forecasts, including monthly co-ordination of Opex spends and variance analysis
Assist managers with the preparation of budgets and forecasts in terms of the guidelines
Responsible for ensuring that all monthly spends are allocated correctly
Ability to co-ordinate the monthly variance report after obtaining and evaluating the reasons for the variances
Ensure that distribution cents per litre is contained through continual investigation and improvement of asset utilisation
Perform Distribution centre Capex and abnormal maintenance function
Effectively co-ordinate the monthly internal audit function for the Distribution centre
Effectively administer Customs and Excise Accounts (Where applicable)
Stock take preparation and data capturing
Improving business processes to ensure achievements of Business Objectives
Performance Management
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Valid Matric certificate
A relevant 1 - 2 Year Diploma or Degree / Advanced National Certificate in Administration or Finance
6 Months minimum total years of relevant experience in FMCG Logistics / Distribution Environment
Computer literacy in MS Office, SAP, Success Factors
Experience meeting tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and sound presentation skills
The ability to work after hours and / or shifts if necessary
Purpose
The purpose of this position is to build a knowledgeable and competent Supply Chain workforce through the correct implementation of our Capability Strategy, ensuring our employees can compete effectively and efficiently in the marketplace.
Key performance areas will include, but not be limited to:
Develop and execute the learning and capability strategy to achieve current and future fit capability requirements
Maintain a keen understanding of training trends and developments and ensure that the business has a solution to support the various generational learning requirements

Identify and assess continuous improvement and current training initiatives through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers

Manage and control training budget
Develop a consolidated training calendar that will meet the needs as identified by the IDP process
Ensure best practise training techniques are deployed to maximise the return on training investment
Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, succession and ROI
Engage learning and development opportunities offered by government to enhance the skill development objectives and maximise any financial rebates to the advantage of the learner and the business
Develop existing employees to build a differentiated organisation capability
Develop a cross and multi skilling program that will support the business to maximise the utilisation of the workforce
Develop training curriculums and training modules based on the unique business requirements for each of the functional departments within Supply Chain
Design training and development plans that address the individual goal plans of employees where there are unique requirements and create a catalogue of training that will accelerate individual growth
Conduct assessments and certifications to assess the trainee’s knowledge

Support the management team to create a culture of continues learning
Continued business partnering with relevant HR managers to ensure alignment around L&D initiatives and deliverables
Total Quality Management
Collaborate with the Supply Chain and SAM Leadership Team, to ensure they clearly understand quality assurance standards and manage it accordingly
Responsible for the end-to-end customer contact processes and their associated customer experience, supporting cross company initiatives to drive improvements, improve efficiency and reduce complaints
Apply Quality best practises, develop continuous improvement plans from Quality initiatives and make recommendations based upon the employee, consumer, and customer insight
Align with E2 practices
People and Expectations
Assess team development needs and close gaps through coaching, training and creating a pro-learning environment
Ensure operational team performance through effective management within policies and procedures to ensure achievement of standards/objectives
Perform regular side by side coaching with direct reports
Ensure direct reports monitor adherence to processes and procedures, review and agree recommendations on performance improvements, enhancements, streamlining and redesigning of processes.
The successful candidate must preferably have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
Min 5-8 years related experience with training and management in a professional environment. FMCG experience will be advantageous.
Seta accredited Assessor and Moderator will be advantageous
Experience in implementing programmes and processes to achieve Skills Development Act / BBBEE SD targets
Knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies
Knowledge of the effectiveness of learning methods
Significant experience with effective learning and development methods
Experience in project management and budgeting
Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices
Practical experience with MS Office Suite, SAP, and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Strong communication and negotiation with a good ability to build relations with employees and vendors
Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking
Demonstrated ability to maximize individual and team performance through developing and introducing learning and development programmes and initiatives
Deep understanding of effective leadership behaviours
Proven ability to developing & delivering learning and development programmes in an efficient manner
Purpose of the Position:
Effectively handle the administration and financial function, within the Secondary Operations and the completion of all reasonable tasks to ensure the operational efficiency of the Secondary Operations, and to assist and support Distell’s endeavoured to create superior customer service.
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
•Effectively manage the daily administration function within the Trade Express Centre
•Ensure that stock received corresponds with STO and receipt on SAP
•Responsible for all aspects relating to stock control e.g. correct stacking, rotation, replenishments as well as stock takes
•Reduce all write offs
•Maintain a high level of customer service and efficient handling of queries
•Involvement in preparation of budgets and forecasts, including monthly co-ordination of opex spends and variance analysis
•Perform Trade Express centre capex and abnormal maintenance function
•Effectively co-ordinate the monthly internal audit function for the Trade Express centre
•Effective administer Customs and Excise Accounts (Where applicable)
•Checking of monthly stock take sheets.
•Data capturing of monthly stock take figures
•Improving business processes to ensure achievements of Business Objectives
The successful candidate must have the following qualification, skills and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Up To 6 Months minimum total years of relevant experience in FMCG Logistics / Distribution Environment
• Computer literacy in MS Office, SAP, Success Factors
• Experience meeting tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and sound presentation skills
• The ability to work after hours and / or shifts if necessary
