    What To Expect As a Client Support Representative

    The Customer Support Representative will support the Client Success team in our South Africa office. This person should be enthusiastic, hard working, and motivated.

    The Customer Support Representative will provide client support on Meltwater’s products/services ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The Customer Support Representative is responsible for diagnosing and performing first‐level troubleshooting. He/She will possess the proper product knowledge to train customers and recognize when to transition issues to the Account Manager. This individual should have a strong understanding in new media/social media, be a team player, and excited to learn about a variety of industries.

    Responsibilities

    • Liaise extensively with our Cape Town and Johannesburg-based Client Success team and be the first to assist them with managing our clients’ journey.
    • Work closely with Account Managers to provide support for various client projects across Meltwaters proprietary software platforms. 

    • Become an expert user on the latest media intelligence SaaS platforms.
    • Solve problems, often through interactive real time analysis, training of new users, etc.
    • Create reports by mining digital media and social media content based on each brand’s individual parameters.
    • Analyze data streams from multiple media channels to measure impact of 
clients’ brand marketing, public relations and social media outreach campaigns.
    • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery of all work to clients
    • Opportunities for advancement to account management, team management and other functions within the business

    Skills And Requirements

    • University degree (any discipline)
    • Exceptional communication & relationship building skills
    • Extremely self-motivated & organised with the ability to multitask & prioritise
    • Technical skills: Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative skills
    • Excellent level of proficiency in written & spoken English
    • Valid to work within RSA - Work Permit/Visa

    The Position

    What To Expect As a Client Support Representative

    The Media Analyst will support the Client Success team in our South Africa office. This person should be enthusiastic, analytical, hard working, and self-motivated.

    The Media Analyst will collect and evaluate information available publicly using Meltwater’s proprietary software technology. Using this information, the Media Analyst will present key insights which inform on B2B clients’ decision-making across a range of industries including government, universities, retail, banking and other. This individual should have a strong understanding in new media/social media, be a team player, and excited to learn about a variety of industries.

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out quantitative and qualitative research
    • Gather, interpret and present media evaluation reports for Meltwater’s business to business clients.
    • Become an expert user on the latest media intelligence SaaS platforms.
    • Analyze data streams from multiple media channels to measure impact of 
clients’ brand marketing, public relations and social media outreach campaigns.
    • Ensure the consistency, accuracy, and timely delivery of all work to clients
    • Opportunities for advancement within the growing client delivery organisation

    Skills And Requirements

    • University degree (relevant field advantageous)
