    Office Assistant - Healthcare

    Role Overview

    • Office Assistant to the Cape Town Regional Office. This includes (but is not limited to) receiving NMG visitors, answering the Cape Town Office switchboard, diary management, appointment management, taking messages, typing, general organisation of workflow, etc.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Key Performance Objectives

    Tasks

    • Frontline responsibilities are receiving visitors and clients, assisting with any deliveries etc.
    • Answering the Cape Town office switchboard
    • Coordination and management of all flight, accommodation and car hire as well as renewals road show venue bookings.
    • Compiling Staff Travel Advice forms for all travel bookings.
    • Maintaining of expenditure budget for travel.
    • Managing the Executive Head : Healthcare meetings.
    • Events management - Hot off the Press seminars, Mini Users Groups and Users Group events Healthcare team building events, EB Forum events.
    • Maintaining expenditure budget for events planned.
    • Responsible for the distribution and collation of the Executive CRM Surveys.
    • Manage & report back on the success of various projects and events.
    • Scheduling of scheme accreditation training for all staff.
    • Scheduling and coordinating all training workshops for staff and payment thereof.
    • Maintaining expenditure budget for training workshops.
    • Monitoring of training session attendance registers for KRA’s and forwarding those registers on to HR.
    • Catering and coordination of client workshops
    • Maintaining records of Cape Town staff leave.
    • Compiling all Health Care Purchase Requisitions and forwarding proof of payments to clients.
    • Compiling invoices to be raised to clients for Health Care.
    • Extensive records of Health Care budget and costs i.e. travel, Purchase Requisitions, private telephone expenses, renewals expenses, stationary, corporate events.
    • Controlling all office stationary orders and expenses.
    • Responsible for assisting new employees with being set up on the NMG system, IT and adjustment in new division.
    • Same applies for existing employees who are leaving NMG; User exit forms and notifying Operations.
    • Booking of boardrooms for important meetings and all Training sessions.
    • Managing all staff private telephone accounts
    • Updating Health Care staff, cliental records and data bases
    • Send out correspondence to Health Care staff
    • Managing proxima and banner bookings for NMG JHB.
    • Managing Supply and Control for division; clients gifts, wellness gifts and promotional stock.

    Events Coordination

    • Regional annual HC Conferences, Team Building, Events, User Group events, Hot of the Press, Seminars, Forums, Company Year End Functions, Annual Golf Days, Charity events.

    Minimum Qualification

    • Matric
    • Secretarial Certificate/Diploma

    Experience

    • 3 – 5 years secretarial experience at a senior level

    Head of Member First - Financial Planning

    Role Overview

    • The purpose of the role is to unlock opportunities between NMG’s “Member First” (M1) Division and our members by coordinating Benefit Counselling and the subsequent allocation of leads to our Financial Advisors. The role requires the initial hands-on build of the business:  designing the curriculum for the Benefit Counselling offering, recruiting and training Benefit Counsellors and rolling out of the solution across our entire Membership base.    

    Responsibilities

    Build the business:

    • Design and build the curriculum for the Benefit Counselling offering
    • Ensure Benefit Counsellors are trained and competent to provide information to Members and thus unlock business leads
    • Service the existing client base with the Benefit Counselling offering through collaboration with KAMs
    • Budget management
    • Co-ordinate and facilitate Benefit Counsellor activities at various clients
    • Manage the relationship between Benefit Counsellors and Financial Advisors
    • Line Manager functions

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Relevant Bachelor's Degree
    • Financial Planning Qualification – minimum of a National Certificate in Financial Planning
    • Level 5 Regulatory Exam
    • 2-5 years investment, annuity, preservation funds, insurance and/or Employee Benefit experience
    • Team management experience

    Marketing & Communication Executive – Contractual role (4 months)

    Role Overview

    • As the Marketing & Communications Executive for NMG Consulting, you will support the delivery of projects across NMG with a primary focus on connecting with our client networks through multiple digital channels including email communications, LinkedIn and our website. You will work closely with a  team to  deliver NMG’s Insights – our information-backed market analysis and analytics for clients across the life insurance, health insurance, wealth management, asset management and reinsurance industries.
    • This is an exciting role based in Johannesburg  however working with stakeholders in many domains and countries. To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate accomplishments in a lean and dynamic environment. You can juggle several projects at once, have an eye for design, and are meticulous in your attention to detail. You thrive on collaborating across different deliverables, developing communications materials from written content, and keeping projects and timelines on track. You are curious about how to improve on processes and enjoy exploring new and innovating digital tools for managing mailing lists, developing graphics and tracking client engagement.  

    This is an opportunity ideally suited to an individual with a flair for detail and design.

    Key Responsibilities

    External Marketing & Communications

    • Support the design of, and subsequently deliver, mass email campaigns and social media posts, ensuring communication is error-free, adheres to brand guidelines, and delivered on schedule
    • Maintain subscriber/ mailing lists, updating and refining lists as needed
    • Support efforts to increase NMG Consulting’s LinkedIn following through organic and sponsored content
    • Maintain and update the corporate website and our portal ‘NMG Connect’ to provide a visitor experience that is both inspirational, informative, and up to date
    • Transform written content into external communication, by developing pieces across multiple distribution platforms (emails, LinkedIn posts, videos)
    • Design and deliver supporting collateral such as webpages, infographics, emails, digital media, social media content and others, as needed, using a variety of multimedia tools
    • Create and deliver communications plans to support NMG Insights and operational projects, as needed
    • Track, measure, and report performance of marketing engagement on the various channels (Website, Email and LinkedIn) against benchmarks and goals
    • Analyze data to inform initiatives, inculcate fact-based decisions, and provide strategic insight on brand and channel performance

    Internal Communications

    • Work with the Human Capital team to support ongoing employer branding efforts
    • Support internal communications and employee engagement efforts

    Quality Assurer Specialist – Retirement Fund Administration

    Role Overview

    • The Retirement Fund Quality Assurer is responsible for the checking, processing, and auditing of specific tasks and processes. The role is supporting the management team to meet service level agreements and mitigating risk.

    Key Performance Objectives

    Objectives:

    The checking and processing of the following tasks (not limited to these)

    • investments and disinvestments
    • daily pricing of investment transactions where needed
    • monthly contributions
    • all type of claims
    • renewals
    • year-ends
    • all type of statements
    • admin reports

    • Need to respond to all queries and escalations efficiently and independently
    • Any other adhoc task identified by the manager when needed

    The Quality Assurer will also support the Operations Specialist where there is a need
