    Human Resources Internship

    Job Description

    • Raizcorp is looking for a newly qualified Human Resources graduate who is motivated and eager to gain valuable experience in a human resources department on a one-year internship. 
    • The ideal graduate should be energetic, optimistic, and passionate about learning and putting in some really hard work to learn and grow within the company. 
    • A strong foundation and basic experience in computer literacy will be advantageous to have should you wish to apply for this role as you will be working extensively with our internal systems (including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, and Word). 

    Duties & Responsibilities
    In this role you'll be working with:  

    • The HR Manager, supporting him with all internal HR functions and projects.  
    • The HR Business Partners, supporting them specifically with learning, development and other HR related administration.  
    • The Talent Specialist (recruitment): supporting him with recruitment administration, room bookings, interview pack prep and recruiting junior vacancies.  

    Desired Experience & Qualification
    There is no work experience required for this role.    We will be basing the recruitment decision on the following factors:

    • The quality of your CV from grammar, spelling, attention to detail and overall presentation quality. 
    • Your chosen degree being completed, i.e. completed degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial and Organisational Psychology or Organisational Learning and Development. (The type and nature of your qualification will be crucial).
    • Your academic performance at university.  We are seeking strong overall academic performance. 
    • Examples of leadership roles held in school and university. 
    • Your performance during the interview process.
    • Strong People skills (the role in the HR department requires one to be confident and comfortable to approach and work with different departments)

    Entrepreneurial Programme Officer

    • Raizcorp will be running a one-year community entrepreneurial development project in the Kathu area. We are looking for a passionate and experienced individual with a strong understanding of entrepreneurship, solid facilitation experience and a relevant tertiary qualification in business or commerce to manage and deliver this project effectively.
    • The successful candidate must be a local resident of the Kathu area and have strong relationships with, insight into, and passion for the local communities.

    Role overview: Entrepreneurial programme officer
    The Entrepreneurial programme officer is a multi-disciplined professional responsible for the proactive, end-to-end implementation of an entrepreneurial development project. This role includes:

    • Day-to-day operational management of the Project Centre and programme
    • Functional delivery of project outcomes
    • Guiding and co-guiding entrepreneurs
    • Facilitating and delivering training to entrepreneurs and community members
    • Accurate and ongoing reporting to Raizcorp head office
    • Capturing and managing data and metrics aligned to project outcomes
    • As a premium Raizcorp brand ambassador, the Programme Officer is expected to deliver the project in an engaged, collaborative, and highly efficient manner.

    Preferred skills and experience
    Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    • Minimum tertiary qualification in business or commerce
    • Proven experience in business, including owning and running an entrepreneurial business (non-negotiable)
    • Strong understanding of business finances
    • Solid background in group facilitation
    • Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent English language proficiency (spoken and written)
    • Fluency in the language(s) of the local Kathu communities (inherent requirement)
    • Experience in writing detailed reports will be advantageous
    • Own reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s licence (non-negotiable)

    Personality profile

    • This role requires a person with strong empathy and a genuine care for people and their development. You must be a driven individual with meticulous attention to process, deadlines, and goals. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential, as is comfort with detailed reporting, regular feedback, and engagement with head office.

    Learning Content Developer

    Job Description

    • Raizcorp is looking for an experienced and passionate Instructional designer / Learning content developer who holds a degree and at least 5 years’ experience in instructional design. We're looking for your meticulous attention to detail, combined with your strong creative flair. Extensive experience in the use of AI, as well as the creation, training and management of AI Agents will be highly advantageous. To be successful in this role you need a broad understanding of business, be a high-energy individual with the ability to adhere to strict deliverables and deadlines. 
    • Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit a portfolio of evidence of previously developed content.  

    What does a Raizcorp Learning content developer do?

    • In this role you will be responsible for the development and quality of learning and training content covering a variety of topics, industries and applications. This includes in-person, virtual and digital programs. You will be required to plan the development of learning or training content and review the content. You will further also be responsible for the development of coaching tools for Raizcorp entrepreneurs.    

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Manage the inputs of external content developers.
    • Continiously improve the design of learning and training programs, based on the most recent and cutting edge developments and technology in the field of adult education.
    • Create, train and manage AI Agents to develop learning and training content, which includes the assessment and quality control of learning development outputs.

    What experience is preferred?

    • At least 5 years’ experience in instructional design. Must preferably also have at least 300 hours of training and learning facilitation.  

    What type of personality will excel in this role?

    • You should be pro-active, action orientated and responsive, with a high sense of urgency. This also implies taking a high degree of ownership and accountability for the results of the instructional design team.  You must be able to manage critique and feedback effectively. You should be a lateral thinker and have sound critical thinking abilities.  You must have the ability to switch between global and detail thinking and between options and procedures thinking.   

    What are the minimum requirements?

    • A degree or equivalent
    • Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, AI application essential
    • Very strong ability to proficiently speak, read and write in English, including the writing of reports.
    • A driver’s licence and own vehicle.
    • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
    • Flexibility to work after official business hours for events, conferences and customer engagements.
    • Must be able to pass the instructional design portfolio of evidence and case study assessments.
