    Business Development Rep

    Job Description 

    Be the first-line contact with prospects and deliver an independent, professional and informative experience. The purpose is to match customer needs with a suitable product from the stable of Sage products, and to create high quality qualified leads for Sales teams. This will translate into sales to help the business grow and thrive.

    Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities

    • Demonstrate a customer centric approach to identifying customer needs and requirements with a phone call first approach.
    • Monitor distribute and control inbound leads from all lead sources.
    • Qualify leads based on the best practice processes before handing over to Sales
    • Allocate and distribute qualified leads across the Small and Medium segment Sales teams for Sage Africa Middle East
    • Assure impartial and accurate allocation of qualified leads to the relevant Sales Representatives.
    • Enter information and maintain records on Salesforce and local CRM systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Utilise the tools and technology available to support the qualification process.
    • Maintain and exceed the required conversion rate of Leads to Qualified Opportunities while maintaining quality of opportunities.
    • Address sales consultant queries as required
    • Develop positive internal working relationships within the Organisation

    Skills, Know-how And Experience

    • Experience with outbound calling and responding to inbound calls predominantly in English.
    • Exceptional communication skills combined with professional email and telephone etiquette
    • Experience using CRM plus an affinity for systems and technology
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
    • Must be target and results driven and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic high cadence environment.
    • Ability to work alone and must be a team player.
    • Problem solving ability
    • Sales, Inside Sales or Sales Development in multinational organisations will be an advantageous.

    Technical / Professional Qualifications

    • Marketing /Sales Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
    • MS office suite – critical
    • Experience in Salesforce advantageous

    • Professional and consistent management of all inbound leads ensuring a seamless customer experience underpinned by the customer needs, through a product agnostic qualification process.
    • Deliver high quality, data rich, opportunities into the sales organisation, following the defined allocation process aligned to specific segments, supporting revenue growth.
    • Consistent utilisation of systems and tools, ensuring data is managed accurately.

    Sales Operations Indirect - Lead

    Job Description 

     Manage the Sales Operations process to enable sales admin team productivity

    • Proactively identify bottlenecks in the sales/sales operation process and find ways to reduce them to make the operational machine run faster
    • Assist with on-boarding new sales reps
    • Assisting Product with report on add-on solutions so that they can make better decisions when onboarding new Suppliers
    • Provide reporting to OEM Suppliers regarding revenue that was recorded in the current closing month for the record and collection purposes
    • Managing business expectations which rolls into multiple divisions and engagement of the business
    • Manage and co-ordinate the team and provide support and guidance as well as be the backup for the team
    • Will be responsible for billing and all links relating to billing
    • Standard Office Admin which is part of our day to day responsibility
    • Engaging with Sales Managers and maintain good working relationship and proactively support in addressing issues
    • Identify process and training gaps and find solutions on how to close the gaps
    • Understand the entire End to End business flow of the product set that you support as SOP is the starting point of a client’s life cycle
    • Compile and maintenance of process documentations
    • Facilitate cross-skilling of Admin colleagues
    • Involvement in product release processes through attending governance meetings

    ISV ROE(Recruitment, Onboarding and Enablement

    Job Description 

    Managing the recruitment, onboarding and enablement lifecycle of ISV’s across the AME region.

    Key Responsibilities 

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership: (8 or 10 max)

    • Full accountability of training certification for partners in the ISV value add products
    • Drive best practices and key metrics across ISV products as well as operational efficiency by launching the marketplace platform for the AME region
    • Establish solid working relationships across organizational stake holders and be an effective advocate for the team.
    • Annual business planning with ISV’s and Partners to ensure they have access to tools and resources in order to accomplish defined objectives.
    • Create and distribute multi-level communications and status reports.
    • Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly reports, accurately reflecting resources and certification as well as revenue per ISV.
    • Review/Analyse annual certification requirements in line with the software industry.
    • Establish regular cadence and conduct on-going certification audits for ISVs against ISV contractual obligations.
    • On-going communication with ISVs and partners ensuring their enablement requirements are adhered to and being met.
    • Working with Sage Learning Services to generate Training demand as well as the ISV
    • Recruit minim number of net new partners in each quarter as agreed with the sales leaders
    • Develop a new BP on-boarding process and facilitate new partner inductions programs
    • Become a subject matter expect for new partners and assist them to navigate Sage to ensure that they become revenue generating
    • Business planning with new ISV’s and partners to ensure that their strategy and vision is aligned with Sage Skills, know-how and experience:

    Must have: (5 or 6 Max)

    • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Ability to think strategically.
    • Time management Skills.
    • Experience in Partner Enablement
    • Proficiency in English language, verbal and written
    • Proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed global organization
    • Highly motivated and independent contributor
    • Excellent presentation/excel skills; comfortable working with technical and business teams/audiences

    Preferred: (2 or 3 Max)

    • Knowledge of accounting and CRM software, preferably Sage product portfolio,
    • Microsoft Office 365 Suite

    • ISV Enablement: Ensuring that ISV's and BPs meet certification requirements Communication to BP's on training/education On-boarding journey for new partners
    • ISV, Partner and Internal operations: Business Partner operations relevant to ISV enablement.
    • Reporting: Report, measure and track ISV and partner revenue business performance on a monthly basis. Reports to be provided to your line director timeously.
