    Administration Assistant

    About the Job

    Overall Purpose of the Job

    • Provide efficient administrative support to the Campus Head and Customer Relations Officer (CRO). Maintain open lines of communication between students, support office, external clients regarding administrative queries. Assist Campus Head and Customer Relations Officer with the implementation and maintenance of ad hoc projects, as and when required.

    Key Result Areas

    • Typing of documents, checking and making necessary amendments, as required
    • Assist with filing, posting, debtors, uniform orders, issuing of material and certificates.
    • Inputting sales leads into system.
    • Booking of School and Industry visits for sales and lecturer teams
    • Interpreting excel spreadsheets and update as required
    • Management of the campus diaries: confirming & rescheduling appointments of prospective students and preparation of interview forms & portfolio files.
    • Responsible for acceptance & redirection of all deliveries and managing courier system.
    • Ensuring all incoming admin forms/documents are given to staff concerned on a daily basis.

    Qualifications Requirements 

    • Minimum: Grade 12
    • Diploma/ Degree in Communication/ Administration

    • Minimum 1 year administrative experience
    • MS Office (Full package, including MS Outlook)

    Work Integrated Learning Co-Ordinator

    About the Job 

    Overall Purpose of this Job

    • Coordinate and manage various aspects Teaching Practice. Review systems, policies and procedures for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) for continual development. To deliver on lecturing, mentoring, and support of students and campus teams

    Key Result Areas

    • Facilitate WIL planning and coordination in the region.
    • Oversee semester-based WIL assessment and moderation
    • Sourcing and interviewing of candidates for regional WIL placement
    • Coordinate WIL boot camps, workshops and training in the region
    • WIL programme and curriculum development and review
    • Plan timeous meetings with regions for input and challenges
    • Analyze student performance through reporting and develop intervention strategies
    • Analyze student overall performance, instructional approaches, changes and modification
    • Build rapport with and develop relations with all stakeholders including partners, internal and external mentors, assessors and local and international networks.
    • Execution of approved workload (coordination, lecturing, assessing, WIL visits)

    Qualifications Requirements

    • Must hold a hospitality or culinary qualification – ideally at an NQF level 6, but a minimum of an NQF level 5.
    • Must have completed an EDTP assessor programme, and preferably be registered as an assessor with CATHSSETA

    Experience Requirement

    • At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with 2 years of lecturing experience
    • Experience in partnerships and collaboration with external stakeholders
    • Distance learning experience in assessments (online)
    • Experience in mentoring and coaching is preferable

    • Intermediate / advanced digital literacy skills
