    Business Line Manager

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Full responsibility for business development (profit & loss) within South Africa and Regional countries.
    • Developing the industrial business in Southern Africa to a higher and more sustainable level, achieving profitable growth targets with a strong emphasis on Market Share and consolidated profitability.
    • Strategic planning and development for both existing and new opportunities and market segments.
    • Maintain close relationships with the product company to develop and implement business strategy and marketing plans and provide feedback on market trends and competition.
    • Give full attention to customer care, retention and interaction with specific attention to our customer's feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Maintain a strong focus on key account management for major segments and customers.

    • Update the electronic preventative maintenance system (UpKeep).
    • Update critical spares stock levels.
    • Order critical spares as necessary.
    • Liaise with international suppliers regarding equipment issues.
    • Planning and Ensuring Maintenance:
    • Plan the daily maintenance schedule and prioritize important tasks.
    • Ensure proper completion of job cards in UpKeep.
    • Maintain up-to-date stock levels of maintenance spares and ensure their good working condition.
    • Conduct and document preventative maintenance for all machinery in the plant.
    • Provide instructions to maintenance assistants before they work on any machine.
    • Establish a recording track sheet to report the maintenance and performance of each machine to management.

    Minimum Qualifications Requirements:

    • N6 or Diploma in a relevant field.
    • Trade certification in Mechanical or Electrical.

    Related Minimum Experience:

    • At least 10 years of experience, including managing people and systems.
    • Strong planning abilities.
    • Ability to read technical drawings.

    • System installation, start-up and commissioning of robot vision systems in the Automotive industry.
    • Service, maintenance, system checks, optimization of installed systems and customer training.
